7.83 Hertz | Schumann Resonance | The Sound Of Mother Earth

Following on from earlier work by Nikola Tesla, the German physicist, Prof. Schumann predicted in the mid-twentieth century that there are electrical standing waves in the atmosphere and discovered that the earth’s ionosphere produces a very specific pulsation. In 1954, measurements taken by him and Dr. Herbert König confirmed an earth frequency of 7.83Hz. This has become known as the Schumann Resonance. Later they discovered correlations between the Schumann Resonance and human brain rhythms.
