
Yoga Nidra For Healing And Relaxation
This is a guided practice is in the Yoga Nidra style for relaxation and healing. Nicole Paradiso will guide the listener through a 25-minute session accompanied by nature sounds, singing bowls, and binaural beats. There are singing birds in the final 15 minutes for optional seated meditation.

Welcome,
This is a guided meditation for relaxation and healing.
My name is Nicole Paradiso and you are invited to lay down,
Relax,
Listen to my voice,
And experiment with the idea that you may be able to send healing signals to your body.
I hope you have a good time.
Let's begin.
Start by finding a comfortable position where you can lay down and relax completely.
If you want to sit in a chair,
Find a chair where you can relax completely and let your head relax and neck.
Put all of your attention into your left thumb.
Imagine energy flowing into the left thumb,
Relaxing the thumb.
Feel the thumb vibrating from your attention.
Imagine a perfect healing happening in the thumb.
However you see it or feel it,
Send a clear signal for the thumb to relax and for healing to begin.
Raise your mind.
Now leave the thumb alone.
Imagine it's under anesthesia,
You can't move it.
Put your attention into the left index finger.
Imagine energy flowing in and the finger relaxing completely.
Imagine a perfect healing happening in the finger right now.
Left middle finger,
All of your attention there.
Let the finger relax.
Send a clear signal for perfect healing in the finger.
Left ring finger.
Imagine energy flowing in,
Healing the finger.
Let it relax.
Left little finger.
Relax the palm of your hand,
The back of your hand.
So now the whole left hand in a state of relaxation.
Imagine perfect healing in the left hand.
And imagine the energy flowing into the left wrist,
The forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Shoulder,
Left side of your neck.
Even the left side of the vertebrae in your neck.
And imagine the nerves from the neck going down the arm,
Sending clear signals for perfect relaxation and healing down the left arm.
Leave the arm alone,
Let it sleep.
Imagine the energy flowing into the underarm area,
The left side of your ribcage relaxing,
The left side of your waist and hip and buttocks.
Perfect healing flowing down into your left thigh,
The back of the leg,
The left knee.
Feel the knee repairing.
Use your imagination.
The left shin and calf,
The left ankle,
The heel,
The sole of the foot,
The top of the foot,
The left big toe,
Second toe,
Middle toe,
Fourth toe,
Little toe.
So now the whole left side of the body is completely relaxed.
And leave it alone,
Let it sleep.
Put your attention into the right thumb.
Imagine energy flowing into the thumb,
Organizing cells,
Relaxing the thumb.
Send a clear signal to the thumb for the thumb to relax.
Feel it relax.
Imagine perfect healing happening,
Cells organizing.
Let go of the right thumb.
Put your attention into the right index finger.
Let the finger relax.
Let it rest.
Imagine energy flowing in,
Healing the finger.
Leave it alone.
Right middle finger.
Let the finger relax.
Feel it vibrating from your attention,
Let it go.
Use only the mind,
Let the body go.
Put your attention into the right ring finger.
Send the signal,
A clear signal for the finger to heal and relax and repair itself.
Leave it alone.
The right little finger,
All of your attention there,
The finger.
Let it relax and a signal for it to repair.
Put your attention into the palm of the right hand and the back of the hand.
Let the right hand release.
Feel it vibrating from your attention.
Imagine a perfect healing there.
Now imagine that energy flowing into the right wrist and the forearm,
The elbow,
Upper arm,
The right shoulder,
Healing the shoulder along the collarbone into the right side of the neck where the vertebrae are and imagine the nerves from the neck going down the arm sending signals for the arm to relax and heal.
Let the arm release and imagine the energy going under the arm to the rib cage and the waist and your hip and your buttocks healing going down your thigh into your knee.
Healing the knee.
Imagine what does that feel like?
A perfect healing in your knee.
The right shin and calf flowing into the ankle,
Relaxing the ankle and the heel,
The sole of the right foot,
The top of the foot,
The big toe,
Second toe,
Middle toe,
Fourth toe,
Little toe.
Let the right side of your body relax completely.
Imagine your body without arms or legs,
Just a torso.
What would that feel like?
Put your attention into your back.
Feel the muscles of your back.
Let them get warm and relax on the floor or the chair.
Imagine energy flowing into your spine through your tailbone.
It's warm.
You can see it anywhere you like but really try to feel it moving into the spine,
Relaxing the spine,
Healing the spine,
Going all the way up through the spine to the base of your skull and back down.
Imagine that the vertebrae of the spine are healing and the discs in between the vertebrae are plumping up with water.
It feels good.
The spine feels good.
Imagine it growing longer,
Getting taller.
Imagine the spine feeling soft and supple,
Younger,
A perfect healing happening right now in your spine.
Let your back relax and put all of your attention into the soft part of your belly,
Into your organs.
Imagine energy vibrating your organs.
Send a clear signal for your organs to heal.
Imagine the vibration shaking out anything that doesn't belong or serve your organs,
Shaking out loose toxins,
Heavy metals,
Viruses,
Bacterias that don't belong,
Old food particles and mutated cells,
Dead cells.
Imagine on a very subtle,
Subtle level,
This vibration is shaking all of that loose and your body will safely eliminate it.
Imagine now the organs feel younger and they feel happy.
The blood can more easily access every cell.
Put your attention now into your chest and the soft tissue of the chest and imagine a perfect healing as you need,
The energy flowing into your lungs.
And now watch the body breathe by itself.
Try to not control it.
Become the witness to the body.
Watch the body breathing on its own.
Imagine a perfect healing in your lungs,
Energy flowing through the bronchioles,
Healing the lungs.
What would that feel like?
The energy flowing into the heart,
Healing the heart as you need.
Imagine the heart valves being cleaned and repaired,
Perfect healing all around the heart,
Any scar tissues being carefully healed.
Imagine that energy flowing into your throat,
Into your neck,
Healing the esophagus,
The trachea,
Vocal cords,
The thyroid region,
Perfect healing for you exactly as you need.
Imagine the energy flowing into the jaw and relaxing the jaw,
Perfect relaxation in the jaw.
Let it go,
Let go of control of the body,
Move into the consciousness itself.
You're the witness to the body.
Put your attention in your tongue,
Let your tongue relax.
Let go of it completely and imagine energy flowing into your gums,
Into the roots and nerves of your teeth,
Into the teeth themselves and imagine a perfect healing inside of your mouth.
What does that feel like?
You can imagine your favorite flower inside of your mouth,
Radiant with light.
You can taste the flower,
Beauty inside the mouth,
Perfect healing and health.
Imagine that energy flowing over your lips,
Relaxing the lips,
Flowing over the skin of your face,
Healing the skin,
Into the nose,
Into the nasal passageways and the sinuses.
Imagine perfect healing in the nose.
Energy flowing into the eyes,
Healing the eyes,
Relax the eyelids,
Feel the eyebrows relax,
The forehead relaxes.
Imagine energy going over your scalp,
Healing and relaxing the scalp,
Energy around the back of the neck,
Into the ears,
Healing your drums,
Perfect healing in your ears,
Exactly as you need.
Imagine the energy flowing into the brain.
Imagine this energy is relaxing the brain and in your imagination see the organ of the brain,
You're the witness to the brain.
See it relax.
Imagine this sound is creating great equilibrium in the brain.
The parts of your brain that are overused and stressed are now being nurtured and relaxed.
The parts of your brain that are underused,
The parts of our brain that we don't use are waking up.
And there's chemical and energetic balance in the brain.
You have access now to more of your subconscious and the part of you that is stressed or overworking now can relax.
You have access to more of the brain,
But even that we let it rest now.
We let the brain sleep,
Try to just be the witness.
Feel the body get very heavy.
You know what it feels like,
Like when you're at the dentist and they put lead on you.
The feeling of being very heavy.
This isn't just a thought.
Recall the feeling in the body,
Very heavy.
And let that go.
And recall the feeling of being very light,
Like floating in the ocean or a bathtub,
Like a helium balloon.
Light.
Feel it in the body.
Let that go.
Now imagine yourself lying on a beach.
It's a perfect day,
Exactly the way you like it.
The weather is perfect.
Imagine you can look out over the ocean,
Over the horizon,
See the blue sky.
If you look up,
You can see a bird,
A seagull flying in the sky.
Imagine you can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.
Imagine the sun rays are coming down into your body,
Penetrating your skin to the flesh and the bone,
Warming and healing your body.
You feel very good,
Relaxed.
And feel your body against the sand.
Feel the pull of gravity,
Of the earth itself pulling you down.
And imagine through that sensation,
The earth is actually giving the body energy,
Charging the body.
Give the body the gravity and let that energy flow into you.
Use your imagination.
Feel it.
And now look over the horizon,
Over the ocean.
The sun is setting.
The sky is turning pink and orange and red.
Watch the sun set.
Imagine you are falling asleep,
Deep in relaxation.
Someone comes,
A safe person,
And puts blankets on you and you feel very comfortable.
And you begin to dream.
In the dream,
The stars are out and one star gets your attention.
And it starts to grow bigger.
It's growing towards you.
Bigger.
And you can feel the stars energy.
And the star has something to remind you.
What is it?
Something you know already.
Something that will help you now.
A great peace comes over you.
Put your attention into your heart.
All of your attention into the heart itself.
The right side of the heart.
But still in the heart.
All of your attention there.
What do you feel?
What does the heart want?
You have cultivated a state of mind.
Together we have.
And it's beneficial to you as you begin to move away from this practice.
That you move and breathe and think in ways that do not disturb the mind.
Take your time.
Gently move to the side,
Roll to the side.
Make your way up into a comfortable seat.
There's no rush.
When you find your comfortable seat,
Lengthen through your spine.
Watch your body breathing.
Your eyes can be slightly open.
Become the witness to the body,
The thoughts.
And sit here in stillness for as long as you like.
