Night Flower

I composed Night Flower accompanied by the sound of the rain in the night. The idea was to create a suspension, a meander of the mind where thoughts could dissolve and abstract perceptions of the surrounding space could merge into stillness. The choice of an ‘immovable’ E minor key was to emphasise the depth of the darkness surrounding me, transposed here in a cocoon of sound where notes fall like drops of rain.
