Relationship is a dance. We establish a dance is our love relationship and just like actual dancing, there is a lot of variety in how we choose to dance - our rhythm, our pace, our use of space, whether we follow or lead, the riskiness of our moves, how well we collaborate with our partner, how free we are to go with the flow and lose ourselves in the moment.

Transcript

Now begin by closing your eyes and drawing your focus inward to the natural and gentle rhythm of your breath.

Be aware now of relaxing your head and your eyes.

Relax your mouth and your jaw.

Now be aware of relaxing your neck and as your neck begins to relax so do your shoulders,

Your arms and your hands.

Bring your focus now to your chest,

Noticing your breath moving in and out of your chest.

This allows your chest to relax and your heart to open just a little more.

And now deepen your breath to your belly.

Notice that with every in-breath your stomach expands and every out-breath your stomach contracts,

Allowing your stomach to relax.

And finally be aware of relaxing your legs and your feet.

And now for the next bit of time allow your thinking to relax and your attention to be paid towards what I will be guiding you to remember,

To focus on and to experience internally and externally.

Now recall that moment when you knew your partner was meant for you.

Allow yourself to feel that in your entire body.

Feel that sense of peace,

Of knowing,

Of excitement.

Feel it through your entire body,

Down through your feet and up through the top of your head.

Allow your body to remember.

With that sense of knowing begin to recall those special moments,

That first time you said I love you.

Even that first time you remember that you loved your partner,

Your engagement,

Your wedding ceremony,

Even if you haven't had one yet or you may not experience and know and remember that union,

That moment you knew this I plan forever.

How about that moment you look deeply into each other's eyes as you made a promise to yourself and each other.

Notice how that promise felt.

Notice how in that moment your love expanded because that was the meaning of two becoming one.

Me into we.

Bring some conscious awareness about this expansion of love,

That shift from me to we.

Continue to reflect on.

Continue to move into more solid awareness of you,

Your partner and your depth of love.

And now no matter how long you've been in relationship,

Bring some conscious awareness about this expansion of love,

About those fun and important moments together.

The closeness,

The fun,

Perhaps the birth of children or a child,

Perhaps the choice to not have children,

Those important decisions that you made together that maybe even there were disagreements and then there was consensus.

You may have even together thought of something that either one of you could not have thought of separately.

How about that moment that the two of you became an hour?

The moment you expanded your love even more,

You became a family.

A family.

No matter how large or how small,

You are a family.

Feel that sense of belonging,

Of love,

Of value as you belong to yourselves and to each other.

And now with the strength of that vision,

See that band of light,

A circle of light that is unbreakable forevermore,

You and your family.

Allow your body to relax into that.

And now calling upon your imagination and intention,

Begin to envision your future from this day forward.

See your family as it grows together,

Expands in love.

See your relationship as it expands and grows as it becomes more solid as perhaps you grow old together gracefully.

And so now for the next few minutes,

As the music plays,

Create the vision.

Anytime you move away and get distracted by your thinking,

When you notice it,

Simply draw your awareness back to creating with your imagination and your intention the vision of the relationship you desire.

Sacred,

Strong,

Graceful,

Loving,

Compassionate,

And so much more.

Blend with pelvis.

You you you And now begin to bring your awareness back to this present moment Remembering that Vision that you created and that you can always continue to create and expand upon and grow And remember That you committed to listen to each other without figuring out how to respond and listen for as long as you need to Remember that you committed to respect each other especially when you disagree That you will speak up and share even if you're nervous That you will handle anything that comes up for you With your partner as soon as possible and that you will always return to your love for yourself for each other and Have gratitude for the life that you have created so far and will continue to create Many blessings in your relationship Many blessings for your relationship and hold each other sacredly and gracefully And now bring yourselves back into this present moment And when you're ready you can open your eyes And when you're ready you can open your eyes you
