Have you ever felt afraid to let yourself feel your emotions, worried that if you open the door to sadness, anger, grief, or vulnerability, you might get hurt? Sometimes, anxiety is connected not only to what we are experiencing, but to how unsafe it feels to experience it. Past heartbreak and painful experiences can teach us to suppress our emotions, stay in control, or avoid feeling too deeply. This somatic practice invites you to gently reconnect with your body, make space for your emotions, and begin building a sense of safety around feeling. Through guided awareness and compassionate exploration, you will practice meeting your experience without needing to push it away, change it, or figure it all out. You don't have to force yourself to feel anything. This is an invitation to discover that you can meet yourself with compassion, even when what arises feels uncomfortable. A practice for anxiety, emotional healing, self-compassion, and reconnecting with your body.
