This is an audio guided imagination practice. We'll settle into our bodies, anchor into a future 7 years forwards, and you will get a chance to imagine into what you desire. We'll then welcome the energy of Sunflower into the practice to help you focus on what you can seed today in order to harvest the future you imagine. If you getting settled into imaginative space feel difficult for you, consider doing something embodied and playful first. A yoga or breathwork practice may help you bridge the playful time with engaging this guided practice.

Hi,

My name is Nya and this is Seeding the Future with Sunflower.

I will be your guide for this imagination practice.

Be someplace where you have time and space to reflect.

Outside is best.

You will be using your imagination to explore a desired future.

I will guide you gently in and out of two pauses.

Utilize these quiet pauses in whatever way works best for you to engage the prompts.

Have something nearby to archive what emerges for you.

Settle in with an intentional breath.

Maybe add a roll of the neck.

Feel into where your body is being supported.

Bring awareness to where your body is connecting to the support.

Become aware of your breath.

There is nothing to change,

Just notice it.

How does your breath feel?

Where is it moving in your body?

What's the pace?

Settle into your breath and body right where and how you are.

Imagine a future.

We'll anchor in with something familiar.

Consider your current age.

Consider the current age of others you are in relationship with.

This could be families,

Friends,

Neighbors,

Pets.

Now,

How old will you be in seven years?

How old will those you thought about be in seven years?

Now,

At your age,

Seven years from now,

Imagine your desired future.

Let your senses fill in the details.

How are you spending your time?

Who is with you?

Perhaps you'd prefer to imagine from a different perspective.

Seven years from now,

How will you feel in your body?

How will you feel in your relationships?

When it's time to come back,

I will hum you in.

Breathe in your desired future you've just sensed into.

Breathe out into this moment.

I'm going to introduce the sunflower into our time.

A sunflower is known for many things.

It's known for its beauty.

Many are yellow,

But some are red or orange.

It's used for nourishment,

Both as an edible and the oil as a topical.

Sunflower is known for always facing the sun,

Following what warms and brings bliss.

Sunflowers are also known to remediate toxins,

Even heavy ones,

From soils,

Making the soil viable and safe to support life after harmful disruptions.

Consider the sunflower and its many attributes.

Breathe in.

Return to the desired future you imagined.

Choose one thing from this future,

Anything you want.

It could be something blissful or something healing.

Choose one thing and bring it close.

Now I'm going to give you more time to sense into and consider what you can seed now to harvest this aspect of your desired future.

Now I'm going to give you more time to sense into and consider something.

What can you seed now so that you can harvest this aspect of your desired future?

I'll hum you in when it's time to come back.

Breathe in what you have available to seed right now.

Breathe out into this moment.

Take some time.

Archive what has come up in this practice.

List who you need to ask to help,

As well as resources that are available.

If you can,

Get a sunflower seed and keep it close.

You may even choose to plant it.

Seal the time now and any time you spend tending to this later with this blessing.

May it be so without harm and toward flourishing.
