Explore MeditationMelissa Massello is a trauma-informed, body-positive yoga teacher (RYT-500) & yoga therapy intern (IAYT) with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) who has been practicing yoga as a therapeutic pathway to her own mind-body healing for over 20 years. She's also a former elite figure skater and environmental/wellness journalist turned movement professional again in her 40s, after two decades as a deadline-driven desk jockey made her incredibly sick. Melissa's passion is for inclusive, accessible, functional movement, mindfulness & yoga as a lifestyle for chronic pain, chronic illness, and other chronic conditions — like the epidemic of stress. Melissa is currently researching the efficacy of yoga therapy to reduce allostatic load in individuals with late-life diagnoses of hypermobility.
