Divine Light Seed Meditation.
This is a daily practice to be done in the morning and in the evening.
It takes between 5 to 10 minutes to do.
For this practice,
You will require prayer beads,
Preferably 108 beads in your mala.
Sit comfortably with a nice straight back.
Close your eyes.
And now visualize a beautiful flame of light in the center of your heart.
It's about the size of a candle flame.
The flame is very steady,
Very beautiful.
This flame represents the light of love,
The light of purity,
The light of God.
As you keep visualizing the flame in the center of your heart,
Now inwardly begin repeating a mantra,
A phrase that inspires you.
You could use the mantra Aum.
You could use the mantra Aum Sri Sai Ram.
You could even use an English phrase,
Like all I need is within me now.
Choose a mantra that is meaningful to you.
Each word of the mantra should be repeated with clarity and focus.
It's like you are offering this mantra to this inner light in the center of your heart.
And this flame grows bright and steady.
And now also imagine that you are surrounded in golden light,
Completely filling the space you're in.
This light represents guidance,
Protection and grace.
Feeling completely safe,
Completely looked after.
And now for the rest of your practice.
You will simultaneously keep attention on these three elements.
The inner light in the center of your heart,
The mantra that you have chosen,
And being surrounded,
Being completely bathed in this golden light.
You will repeat this mantra 108 times.
And once you're done,
You will just sit quietly for a few minutes.
And that is the summary of the Divine Light Seed Meditation.
Three times a week,
Do it for longer.
Practice for 20 minutes.
And the rest of the time,
Morning and evening,
Repeat your mantra 108 times.
And during the day when nothing else is happening,
Come back to this beautiful flame in the center of your heart.
Come back to your mantra.
Come back to the visualization of being surrounded by beautiful light.
This practice will purify you,
Uplift you,
Calm and strengthen you.
And it will also release all fears and anxieties.
It brings immense blessings,
Eliminates disturbing thoughts,
Worries,
Fears and unskillful habits.
A natural state of joy,
Ease and well-being saturate the whole being.
Gradually you are filled with a sense of confidence and the genuine desire to love all and serve all,
Seeing in them a reflection of your own true self.
