SO I AM THAT.
SO HUM I AM THAT.
SO HUM I AM THAT.
Now,
Sitting here quietly,
I watch the little I,
The wandering self,
With endless desire.
First,
I watch the little I in breath,
The little I experiencing the normal breathing pattern.
I watch,
Breath comes in,
A brief pause,
Breath going out,
Another pause,
And again,
The breath comes in,
Takes a pause,
And goes out.
Pause again.
The cycle continues.
And I continue watching the breathing pattern.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Pause again.
Pause again.
The cycle continues.
And I keep watching.
I watch the length of the breath coming in,
The duration of the short pause,
The length of the outgoing breath,
Duration of the pause.
And I continue watching.
While keeping awareness of breathing,
I shift my focus to how little I is experiencing the body.
In the body,
The little I feels sensation,
The sensation of vibration.
Sometimes the vibration is pain,
Sometimes it is comfort.
But I continue watching the little I experiencing the body sensation in different parts.
Arms.
Hands.
Legs.
Chest and abdomen.
Neck and head.
The face.
Eyes and nose.
Cheeks,
Chin,
Lips.
The little I says,
I am relaxing.
And I continue watching the little I sensing relaxation.
Now I watch little I drifting away,
Wandering from one thought to another thought.
The little I.
It has big dreams.
It hopes to reach the sky.
Touch the stars and moon.
The little I.
It wants to ride the heights of success and pleasure.
It wants a small house first,
With a small courtyard.
Then it wants a bigger house,
With a bigger courtyard.
And then a mansion.
Then it wants two houses.
Many houses then.
It continues desiring.
The hopes,
Ambitions,
The desire continue to grow.
The little I does not stop.
It hopes for more and more.
But I continue sitting quietly here and now.
Watching the little I,
The wandering self,
With endless desires.
Hopping from one branch of thought to another.
Now I watch the little I returning to the body again.
Feeling the sensations.
Moving toes and fingers.
Stretching arms and legs.
Opening the eyes if closed.
And the little I takes a moment to declare,
I feel relaxed.
And at this point,
I conclude watching the little I for now.
