The winter solstice.

Feel the winter sun now dappled and light,

Warming the heart,

Bringing delight.

Follow the sun as it starts to peek through,

Throwing sparks of imagination,

Rebirth anew.

A new day arrives,

Fresh from the past,

As the sun's next cycle readies to start.

To nourish and infuse the seeds of the night,

Cushioned in the earth,

Waiting for the right time to emerge from the burrow below.

To rise up and stretch,

To reach up and grow.

Hold gently this seed,

Your heart's true way.

Let the magic of this solstice light your journey today.
