Get into a comfortable position.

It is okay to lie down in bed with your head on a pillow.

Meditation has no rules and does not require a forced seated posture.

Aim for the most comfortable position you can.

When you are settled,

Begin to connect with your breath.

Feel the tension slipping away from your body with each exhalation.

Relax more deeply and let the usual thoughts of the day to day pass through your mind slipping steadily and effortlessly away.

As the mind chatter drifts,

Allow your mind's eye to come to awareness and begin to open.

Allow your chakras to warmly stimulate and emit their beautiful glowing color.

You are in a garden of peace and beauty,

An alchemical garden,

Where physical elements have been arranged in perfect harmony.

Earth,

Air,

Fire and water are at work in your garden.

What do you see in your paradise?

What magic awaits your senses?

Perhaps the air is filled with sweet lavender and a warm breeze passes over your sun-kissed skin.

Trees,

Shade,

Fountains,

A babbling brook,

Glowing torches of incense,

Peaceful and wise animals.

Your senses are alive.

Revision yourself now in alchemical splendor.

What are you wearing as an alchemist?

Are you a vision in steampunk straps?

Or are you draped in robes of sorcery?

Maybe your alchemist wears the clothes of a lab scientist or a worker of metals.

Using your inner power of alchemy,

Begin to visualize a new version of yourself standing in front of you with your back to yourself.

What aspects of your physical body do you wish to heal or improve?

Do you have an ailment you wish to recover from?

In the new version of yourself,

Allow those improvements to take shape.

Allow the new vision of yourself to become slightly stronger,

Larger and nimbler.

It's a subtle difference,

But it's there.

Now using the power of transmutation in your mind's eye,

Step into the new version of yourself with your next breath in,

Becoming as one as you let your breath out.

Looking down at your new body and out at your beautiful hands and arms,

You see a glowing shimmer as if your skin has been dipped in gold.

Peace,

Strength and love are radiating from you.

How do you feel?

Notice that your ailments are healing,

Your balance more precise,

Your agility greater.

Move around,

Dance,

Run,

Do a tumbling pass.

Concentrate on the possibility of flight.

Now slowly return to your center.

Return to the clearing in your garden where you stepped into your new self.

Using your inner alchemical power,

Begin to visualize yet another new version of yourself standing in front of you with your back to yourself.

Focus on the aspect of your mind and body that you wish to heal and make stronger.

In the new version of yourself,

Allow those improvements to take shape.

Allow the new vision of yourself to become slightly stronger,

Wiser and more alive.

It's a more noticeable difference this time.

Now using the power of transmutation in the splendorous light of your mind's eye,

Step into the new version of yourself with your next breath in,

Becoming one as you let it out deeply.

Looking down at your new body and out at your beautiful hands and arms,

You see not only a golden shimmer but a white layer of flame.

You are free to venture about your garden of beauty and mystery.

And as you begin to wander,

Maintain your awareness of love,

Forgiveness,

Patience and beauty in all things.

Know that the power and strength of God is all around you.

The garden of your mind is free from judgment and criticism of yourself and others.

You love yourself more than words can describe.

It is whole and pure.

The stone is in you.
