Hello,
This is Nathan Ochsenfeld and I am a Natural Vision Improvement Teacher.
This is part of my Vision Meditations series,
So if you enjoy this one,
Please make sure you look for the others.
This is our 12-step Sensory Gratitude Practice.
I invite you to find yourself in a comfortable seated position or lying down on your back,
Whatever is most comfortable.
And if it's alright,
You can also gently close your eyes in a relaxed way.
I'll be providing you with some statements that you can simply listen to and reflect upon or you're welcome to repeat after me using your own voice.
Beginning with the breath,
Noticing the breath exiting and entering your lungs.
I am grateful for my sense of smell.
I feel ecstasy when I smell roses and lilies and lilacs and lavender.
I am grateful for my sense of touch.
I feel alive when I jump into cold rivers and take cold showers.
I am grateful for my sense of hearing.
I feel deep emotions when I listen to music.
I am grateful for my sense of taste.
I feel nourished when I bite into ripe,
Juicy fruit.
I am grateful for my sense of sight.
I feel awe and wonder when I gaze upon nature landscapes,
Coastlines,
Mountain ranges,
Waterfalls,
Forests,
Sunsets,
And stars.
I am grateful for all my other subtle senses.
I feel a sense of thankfulness for my opportunity to utilize this finely tuned instrument that I have in order to harmonize with others.
I invite you to repeat this meditation whenever necessary as a way to show some appreciation to all five of your special senses as well as all the other subtle senses.
Thank you and have a relaxing day.
