Psalm 19 is a meditation on how God reveals Himself through both creation and His Word. The skies declare His glory. The rhythms of nature speak without words. And His law, His truth, restores the soul and brings clarity to the heart. As you listen, let these verses draw you into awe, humility, and surrender. After I gently read the verses over you, the soft music will continue to play and quietly fade out. Whether you are waking up and want something to inspire your day, or just want to reflect on God's vast creativity before dosing off to sleep, this calming meditation is meant to soothe your soul.

Today I am reading Psalm 19.

It's an excerpt from the Bible and it's in the message version.

I know that sometimes the Bible app doesn't have a voice that is calm or nurturing so I just wanted to offer an alternative for you today.

I hope that the Lord speaks through me and washes you with peace.

Psalm 19.

God's glory is on tour in the skies.

God craft on exhibit across the horizon.

God makes a huge dome for the Son,

A superdome.

The morning suns a new husband leaping from his honeymoon bed.

The day-breaking Sun an athlete racing to the tape.

That's how God's Word vaults across the skies from sunrise to sunset,

Melting ice,

Scorching deserts,

Warming hearts to faith.

The revelation of God is whole and pulls our lives together.

The signposts of God are clear and point out the right road.

The life maps of God are right,

Showing the way to joy.

The directions of God are plain and easy on the eyes.

God's reputation is 24 karat gold with a lifetime guarantee.

The decisions of God are accurate.

God's Word is better than a diamond,

Better than a diamond set between emeralds.

You will like it better than strawberries in spring,

Better than red ripe strawberries.

There's more.

God's Word warns us of danger and directs us to hidden treasure.

Otherwise,

How will we find our way?

Clean the slate,

God,

So we can start the day fresh.

Keep me from sins,

From thinking I can take over your work.

Then I can start this day sun-washed and scrubbed clean.

These are the words in my mouth.

Accept them when I place them on the morning altar.

Oh God,

My altar rock.

God,

My priest of my altar.

TY for bringing this beautiful psalm to life. I’m grateful for the stillness and quiet that followed as that is where we meet God. That said, I also appreciate your reflections🙏🏻♥️
