This is going to be a journey to help you get a great night rest and leave behind all the tensions of the day,
Any worries,
Any stress,
Anything that's bothering you.
So I invite you to get comfortable,
Lay down in your bed,
Make sure that you find exactly the right spot.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath all the way in and exhale all the way out.
And the next breath,
Inhale all the way in,
Breathing in love and light and exhaling any anxiety that you may be feeling.
You may notice your anxiety starting to melt away.
You may notice it coming out of your fingertips,
Coming out of your toes and allowing it to go back into the earth where it will be transformed into positive energy again.
Taking another deep breath all the way in,
Breathing in gratitude and compassion for yourself and for the day that you've had.
And it may have been a good day or it may have been not so good of a day,
But whatever happened today,
You survived.
I invite you to pick a color.
It can be a color that's very relaxing to you.
On the next several inhales,
Allow that color to fill up your body.
Allow that color to help relax your muscles.
Allow it to relax your thoughts.
Allow it to help you become more and more comfortable as you notice yourself sinking a little bit deeper into the bed.
You may notice that on each exhale,
Any stress or anxiety is leaving the body and that on each inhale,
That color is becoming more bright and more vibrant,
Helping you to relax more and more deeply.
And in a moment,
You may notice a path and this path will guide you down to your place of rest.
And this is where you'll rest this evening.
You may notice there are some animals along the path and they're winding down their day and they're laying down to rest with their families as you continue to make your way down the path until you find that special place where you will rest.
And when you get there,
You notice there's a special place just for you to lie down,
Get comfortable.
You may notice the stars twinkling above.
You may notice the moon shining on you.
And you may notice some sounds of the insects and the animals as they slowly soothe you to sleep.
And you reach down and find that special blanket that will help you rest and keep you safe from anything negative as you sleep tonight.
You pull that comfortable,
Warm,
Safe blanket over your body as you begin to sink even deeper into the bed.
And you notice you have a desire to have beautiful dreams tonight.
And after these beautiful dreams,
You'll wake up in the morning at just the right time,
Living and slept soundly the whole night,
Feeling rested and refreshed and ready for a beautiful new day.
