Welcome,

Little one.

It's time to get cozy and ready for a special journey.

Find a spot to sit or lie down,

Somewhere you feel safe and warm.

Let your body relax,

And if it feels good,

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in,

Hold it,

And now let it all out,

Letting go of any thoughts of worry.

Let's get ready to find a very special star tonight.

We're going to relax our whole body,

Bit by bit,

So we feel peaceful and calm,

Just like the night sky.

Start by noticing the top of your head.

Imagine it's getting soft and gentle,

As if a warm blanket of calm is covering it.

Now let this cozy feeling flow from your forehead,

Making it feel loose and peaceful.

Let the calm drift down to your eyes,

And imagine your eyelids feel heavy,

Like they're wrapped in soft clouds.

Ready for sleep,

Move down to your cheeks and your mouth,

Letting your jaw feel relaxed and loose.

Now let that calm feeling drift down to your neck and your shoulders.

Imagine any heaviness or tightness melting away,

Like the snow melting in the sun.

Feel your shoulders drop,

Letting go and feeling light.

Let this peaceful feeling flow down your arms,

All the way to your elbows,

Then down to your wrists,

And finally,

To each one of your fingers.

Imagine each finger is like a little star,

Glowing softly and feeling completely relaxed.

Now bring your attention to your chest.

Feel your chest rise and fall gently with each breath.

Imagine a small warm light glowing in your heart,

Like a little star,

Helping you to feel safe and loved.

Now let the warmth drift down to your belly,

Feeling it with calm and peace.

Take a gentle breath in,

Feeling your belly rise,

And let it fall softly.

Now let this peaceful feeling travel down your legs,

All the way to your knees,

Down to your ankles,

And finally to your toes.

Imagine your toes are snuggled in a cozy blanket,

Feeling totally relaxed.

Now your whole body is soft,

Calm,

And ready for a magical journey.

Let's take a few gentle breaths to help us feel even more peaceful.

Breathe in through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

Imagine that each breath is bringing you a little closer to the night sky.

Filling you with calm and warmth.

Breathe in,

And breathe out.

With each gentle breath,

Imagine yourself feeling lighter,

Like a star floating in the sky.

Now that we're relaxed and peaceful,

Let's go on a magical journey.

Imagine that you're lying on a soft blanket,

In a quiet meadow,

Looking up at the night sky.

The sky is dark and peaceful,

And it's filled with thousands of stars,

Twinkling like little diamonds.

As you look up,

You notice a special star shining brighter than all the others.

It's a little bigger,

And it has a soft,

Golden glow.

This is the kindness star.

It shines for everyone,

Bringing warmth and love to everyone who sees it.

You reach out your hand,

And the kindness star sparkles even brighter,

As if it's waiting just for you to make a wish.

You can make a wish for yourself,

Or for someone you care about.

Maybe you wish for happiness,

Or peace,

Or love.

Take a moment to think of your first wish.

As you make your first wish,

Imagine it traveling up to the kindness star,

Sparkling with love and kindness.

Now watch as the star glows even brighter,

Sending your wish out into the night sky.

Now think of someone else you would like to make a wish for.

It could be a friend,

A family member,

Or someone you love.

Imagine that person in your mind,

And make a wish just for them.

Picture this wish floating up to the kindness star,

Where it shines and sparkles with warmth.

Keep making wishes,

One by one.

Each wish can be for someone you care about,

Or even for all the people in the world.

Maybe you wish for people to feel happy,

Safe,

Or loved.

Imagine these wishes filling the sky,

Like little glowing stars all around you,

Creating a blanket of kindness.

As each wish lights up the night,

Feel the warmth of the kindness star surrounding you,

Like a gentle hug.

Know that each wish you make spreads kindness and love to everyone around you,

Filling the world with peace and good feelings.

Take a moment to look at all the wishes sparkling in the sky.

Notice how each one shines,

Filled with your kindness,

Your love,

And your hope.

Now take a big,

Deep breath in,

And let it out slowly.

Feel yourself still wrapped in the warmth of the kindness star,

Surrounded by all the good wishes you sent into the sky.

Remember,

You can always find your way back to this kindness star,

Whenever you want,

To make wishes for yourself,

Or others.

Let this feeling of peace and kindness stay with you as you drift off to sleep.

And if you're ready for sleep,

You can stay cozy,

Just as you are,

Carrying all those warm wishes with you,

Sweet dreams,

And may the kindness star watch over you tonight.
