Welcome.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
And I invite you to gently close your eyes and begin to focus on your natural breathing.
No judgements.
Simply breathe and bring your focus to the here and now.
Keep observing your breath and I invite you to take a deep inhale through your nose.
Pause for a moment and then begin to slowly release the breath through your mouth.
Then you return to your natural breathing for a moment.
And when you are ready,
I invite you to take another deep inhale through the nose.
Hold your breath just for a little moment.
Then slowly release your exhale through your mouth.
And as you return to your natural breathing,
Notice how your body begins to relax with each exhale.
You begin to soften and soothe any tensions you may notice.
Softening and soothing.
So now we will begin a journey to help you release anything that is not serving you in this moment.
So I invite you to keep your eyes closed and imagine that you are walking towards a door.
You slowly begin to open the door and you go through the door.
You find yourself in a beautiful white-sanded Caribbean beach and the sun is beginning to set.
The temperature is ideal and the sound of the ocean waves are really calming.
You immediately begin to feel more relaxed and at ease.
And you start walking along the seashore accompanied by this beautiful sunset.
As you are walking along the beach,
You know that you are ready to let go and close cycles in your life.
You are barefoot and you feel the warm soft sand beneath you as you breathe in the fresh ocean air.
Continue to walk along this beautiful seashore.
The sea is warm and calm and the gentle waves wash slowly over your feet.
You observe the beautiful colours in the sky,
The colours of the sunset.
And in the distance,
You can see a small fishing boat.
You observe the boat and then you slowly let it go as you keep walking.
Then you see palm trees ahead of you.
And in the distance,
You can see some people enjoying an afternoon on the beach.
Then you notice a piece of paper flies by you.
As if it's dancing with the wind.
You observe the paper with your gaze as it slowly moves.
You just watch the paper and then you let it go.
And you keep walking.
You are really enjoying your walk as you feel the soft sand beneath you.
Then you stop for a moment and you go to one of the nearby palm trees.
You choose a comfortable place to sit for a few moments.
And you are really enjoying your own company,
Valuing every moment.
You are allowing all this beauty to fill your heart as you feel a soft breeze.
This breeze brings back the paper that passed a while ago.
And the paper comes next to you,
Dancing in the wind.
And then it falls into your lap.
You take the paper and you notice it's a blank piece of paper.
And as you look around,
Next to you,
You find a pencil.
You take a moment to think about everything that you would like to close in this moment.
What you need to finish or say goodbye to.
And what you want to let go of.
And then you slowly begin to write it on your paper.
And you take a few moments as you write.
You slowly begin to finish writing.
And you look at the paper as you fold it.
And you fold it as if it was a little paper boat.
You get up and slowly walk to the seashore.
And you place your paper boat on the gentle waves.
And you begin to say goodbye to your paper boat as you release it into the sea.
And you have a deep knowing that with this gesture you are letting go of everything that doesn't serve you in this moment.
You give thanks and you are feeling grateful to yourself for finally letting go.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
You watch as the ocean pushes your paper boat towards the horizon.
And you watch as your boat slowly begins to disappear.
And you take a nice deep inhale through the nose.
And slowly exhaling through your mouth.
And you know that you have created space in your body,
In your mind and in your soul for new positive experiences.
Then you begin to slowly walk back along the beach.
And you notice how your body feels lighter.
And you are feeling ready to go home as you slowly exhale through your mouth.
As you slowly walk back to your destination.
Very close and the door to which you entered the beautiful beach is only 10 steps away.
You begin to get closer to the door.
9,
8,
7,
6.
It gets closer and closer.
5,
4.
And you are feeling even more secure and at peace.
You go a little bit further towards the door.
3,
2,
1.
And you have arrived.
And you open the door and return back to your centre.
And now I invite you to place your right hand on your heart.
And your left hand above your navel.
Slowly inhaling through the nose.
And exhale through your mouth.
And then you begin to slowly open your eyes.
And you have arrived back to your centre.
