In this short and sweet breathing practice, you will energize the body by breathing slowly and rhythmically. Towards the end, we will ground this energy into the heart chakra and send compassion to yourself and out into the world. Have a beautiful day! (And of course, you can do this practice at any time, not only in the morning).

Good morning and welcome to Start Your Day With Me.

My name is Micaela and we are going to activate the body,

Activate the life force energy for you to have an amazing day today.

So wherever you are,

You might close your eyes and just tune inward.

Begin to deepen your breath.

Allow big inhales to flow in through the nose.

Nice long exhales to flow out through the nose.

In this practice,

We will just breathe together.

We will breathe in a rhythm.

If you have your own rhythm or if you can't keep up with me,

Don't worry.

The main thing is that you consciously breathe and start your day with this practice.

Feeling the life force energy rush into your body.

If there has been anxiety,

Restlessness,

May those energies now soften on the exhale.

If there has been lethargy,

Hopelessness,

Frozen or shutdown energy,

May those energies be lifted up with the inhale.

Now let your awareness gather at your heart.

You can still continue these nice long breaths.

Feeling your heart center expanding as you breathe in.

Compassion to yourself as you breathe out compassion to yourself.

Breathing in compassion to yourself.

Breathing out compassion to yourself.

One more breath.

Compassionate love to yourself.

Then breathing in compassion to others in your life.

Exhaling compassion to people in your life.

Inhale compassion to the people in your life.

Exhale compassion to the people in your life.

One more breath.

Then three more breaths intentionally to the earth.

Compassion to the earth.

Every and all being on the planet,

The planet itself.

Compassion,

Compassion,

Compassion.

Then let your breath return to natural.

Grounding yourself back in,

Ready for the day,

Ready to meet anything that is there to be met today with a compassionate heart.
