Today I'm going to record a self meditation for you to help calm your soul,

Reduce stress,

And also help to reduce physical ailments.

So for now,

I'd like you to sit back,

Relax,

Take in a deep breath,

And let it out.

And with the next deep breath,

I'd like you to imagine a golden light full of energy just wrapping its warmth around you.

And let it out.

And then another deep breath.

And let it out.

Now this golden warmth surrounds you like a beautiful golden butterfly with purple spots and orange threads just wrapping its wings around you,

Making you feel protected and warm.

And in this safe comfort zone,

You'll free your mind of any outside troubles or difficulties.

Just let all the stress go away.

As you take in another deep cleansing breath and let it out.

Just imagine for a while,

Laying back on a massage table.

The masseuse starts at the top of your temples,

Down your temples,

Down your jawline,

Back up to the forehead,

The slow sweeping technique.

Now massaging your scalp,

The back of your neck,

Down your shoulders,

And your arms.

It feels so good to just let go.

Now down your legs to the tips of your toes.

You're so relaxed.

And as you take another deep breath in,

Still feeling the warmth of the golden butterfly,

It is now time for the butterfly to fly off.

It leaves with you its golden warmth as you continue on your journey today.

And another deep breath and let it out.

Now I'd like you to clear your mind of anything that's left in there.

Let go of all the stress as we head on our journey.

Drifting off.

Now I'd like you to imagine you're on a soft fluffy cloud,

Floating and drifting,

Floating and drifting,

Deeper and deeper down.

The sun shining down on your shoulders,

You can see the mountains and the trees and the flowers below.

It's early spring.

You can smell the lilacs and the lilies of the valley just bursting your senses.

Just float and drift for a while.

Float and drift.

Take a deep breath in and now let it out.

You look in the distance and you can see the ocean waves just slapping up along the beach.

In a moment,

You're going to take a walk down to the beach.

You're now standing in a grassy plain full of the lilacs and lilies of the valley.

The smell is just so relaxing,

The sun so warming.

Now as you walk over the top of the hill,

You see a set of stairs near the beach and you're going to walk down those stairs.

One,

Feeling so calm and relaxed.

Two,

Leaving all your stress behind.

Three,

Clearing all the clutter.

Four,

No care in the world right now.

Five,

Restful and peaceful.

Six,

Feeling so warm and protected.

Seven,

Deeper and deeper down.

Eight,

Nine,

Ten.

Now you feel your feet hit the warm sand as you walk over to the ocean.

The water is still cool because it's spring.

The coolness feels so cleansing,

Like it's just washing the stress away.

A few feet away,

You see a large seashell.

You walk over and pick it up.

Now put it to your ear and hear the ocean.

It makes you have memories of childhood,

From walking along the beach and hearing the ocean inside the shell.

Make this seashell with you as it will remind you of your younger years.

Now you walk a little further down the beach and you see a path.

Seems as if it's calling you to walk down it.

Continue down the path.

You see green emerald grass,

The wind blowing and whispering.

It feels so good to just let go.

As you continue down the path,

The beautiful golden butterfly is flying up ahead.

In the distance,

You see a beautiful stone wall surrounding a medieval castle.

Your heart races.

You can't wait to get closer to the gate.

As you walk along,

There's a stream to the right of you,

Just teeming with fish and wildlife.

You hear the water rumbling over the rocks.

You now approach a gate.

The gate opens magically.

There's a drawbridge.

You now enter and walk over the bridge,

The rumbling of the rocks below,

The water splashing gets louder and louder.

You walk ahead in the distance and you feel like you've entered another time.

You see people bustling apart.

They're all running for relaxation.

They're headed towards the castle.

It's a retreat for relaxation.

And once you enter,

There's a private meditation room just for you.

You walk ahead.

The castle doors open.

You walk into beautiful rainbow colors,

Purple,

Gold,

Blue,

And red,

And green.

You follow these rainbow colors to this room filled with lush pillows.

You now sit on the floor on top of them and listen to the sound of the voice as it tells you to take a deep breath in and let out all the bad,

All the negative,

All the stress,

And breathe in the golden light.

Let that golden light surround you like a cocoon,

Protecting you now from the stresses of every day.

And each time you feel stressed,

Alone,

Nervous,

Or afraid,

Just remember the cocoon of golden light protecting you.

Feel the energy overflowing your body,

Protecting you,

Keeping you calm and energized.

It feels so good to just let go.

After your journey here today,

Remember your inner child.

You still have that seashell.

Can still put it up to your ear at any time and hear the ocean just lapping up along the beach.

And remember your journey here today.

It feels so good to just let go.
