Day 12 (of 30). Your emotions are messengers, they carry important information for you if you tune it and listen to - so that you can make your life easier and put yourself in control. If you learn to read the messages of these emotions as they come up - you can be less reactive and more responsive which then allows you to come to a moment of choice to be able to decide if feeling that way is actually serving you.

How are you feeling?

There is no doubt that this process of change has brought up emotions.

So I want to talk about emotions.

We all have them.

Many people are not even able to identify how they feel or even realize the number of emotions we have.

I think that emotional intelligence is the key to self-mastery.

Emotional intelligence is what I've been referring to as your emotional portfolio.

It's building a relationship with the different parts of you so that you understand how you uniquely move through them and are able to support yourself,

Stay steady in life,

And not bounce from one extreme to the next.

Talking about emotions is a huge topic.

So for the purpose of this 30 days,

I want to touch upon it in this way.

Your emotions are messengers.

They carry important information for you to tune into and listen to so that you can make your life easier and put yourself in control.

Emotions are a robust,

Complex matrix of feelings in your body.

Each one we give a name to like joy,

Anger,

Sadness.

So if you learn to read the messages of each of these emotions as they come up,

You can be less reactive and more responsive,

Which then allows you to come to a moment of choice,

To be able to decide if feeling that way is actually serving you.

If you want to get to your highest level of yourself,

You will need to understand your emotional intelligence.

The thing about emotions is they are not static.

They are like waves moving through us and they are the language of our bodies.

Unconsciously,

Emotions are running and generating a lot of your results in your life.

So because of that,

It is important to identify your emotions so that you can begin to speak the language of your body.

No emotion is bad.

The more you can accept each one for the gift it can bring,

The more wholeness and unity you can feel within yourself.

Feeling feels good.
