We as humans are not broken!
This circle is here to create a sacred container to be our most authentic self come home within and balance the parts of us that have drifted of into shadow so we can be once more our most authentic self and create the change in the world we came here to do.
Lately, I've come across posts of practitioners and coaches promoting their work in an icky way to me, not because they are not right or not doing a good job ━ I honestly believe each coach and practitioner have their place and are doing a good job in their own right, it's more so the way they talk about their work.
The essence I perceive when reading some posts is that “you are broken as long as you haven’t fixed (fill in the blank) before you can live a fulfilling life or earn good money you need to (fill in the blank)".
In short, it feels as if everyone is broken. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth reading these kinds of posts, as when we continuously tell people they are broken they will believe it and this belief itself makes the “healing process” so much harder.
However, how would it look if we switched it into another perspective?
How about looking at it from the perspective that we are all WHOLE, we only have forgotten parts of us or they have drifted off and formed into a shadow as a coping mechanism.
Our shadows are our abandoned selves which represent the parts of us we no longer claim to be our own. Yet this can hold positive traits too, as our so-called broken side is only a hidden gem that is part of our human psyche. Our “shadows” or “broken parts” contain wonderful gifts, potential, and lessons once they are brought back into awareness and balance.
Once we tap into this other perspective, it can create a wonderful sense of harmony within and a more balanced life.
We feel whole rather than “broken” and experience a new sense of freedom, allowing us to live life as the truest version of ourselves.
The good thing is we can rewire our beliefs into a more positive one, one that truly sticks. When we marry our whole being with aligned rituals and action steps that nourish our uniqueness, it creates ease and we finally embody all of ourselves.
