Sit comfortably,

Close your eyes and turn your palms up.

Take a breath in and exhale deeply.

Now just watch your breathing and as you do,

Allow yourself to let go of the day,

Of everything in the past.

Call your mind back.

Call yourself back from all the distractions of the mind,

All the jobs you have to do,

All the tasks,

The lists.

Call your mind back.

Take a big breath in and exhale and relax.

Taking yourself back from the future,

From all that hasn't yet happened and may never ever happen.

From all that energy we're putting into the future,

Call ourselves back now.

Looking back into this present moment,

Taking a big breath in and exhale,

Relax.

Be aware of your scalp and hairline and relax all the muscles over your scalp,

Relaxing your forehead,

Relaxing temples,

Relaxing eyebrows and eye sockets and all around your eyes,

All around your mouth,

Lips,

Gums,

Teeth and tongue.

Relax.

Relax your throat and neck,

Inhale,

Breathing out of your head and your throat and your neck,

Letting go.

Inhale again,

Breathe out through the back of your head,

Relax.

Relaxing your shoulders,

Let them drop.

Be aware of your chest,

Relax.

Be aware of your stomach region,

Relax.

Relaxing your pelvic area on your hips,

Legs,

Feet,

Arms and hands,

Relax.

Relaxing your breathing and with each exhalation drop deeper into your physical body.

Using the heaviness,

Letting yourself deeply let go and relax.

Relax the quality of your breathing and invite it to become slow and soft and smooth.

Coming into your heart space,

Breathing in,

Breathing out of your heart,

Breathing in and releasing out of the back of your heart as if you could breathe out of the back,

Straight out the back of your heart.

And now taking your focus from your heart up to the top of your head to your crown chakra and from here sending your focus all the way up and up and up and out through the sky and out and out into the universe,

Out to the highest point you can imagine in the universe,

Out to this point of light,

Stretching,

Using your imagination and stretch out and then calling this light in,

Breathing in and the light gently and gracefully flows down to your crown chakra.

Focusing on the top of your head and receiving this light,

Imagining a beautiful lotus flower sitting in our crown chakra opening to the light and coming down to heart chakra where there's another beautiful lotus flower also opening to the light and the light flows down the whole of our body out of base of our spine,

Down through feet as well down into the earth,

Deeply into the earth and then drawing this light back up from the earth inhale calling it up through our physical body and all of our chakras and sending it up through our heart and out of our crown chakra on the top of our head and sending it all the way back to the source of the light way way way out in the universe,

This beautiful universal light and energy breathing it in again and it flows down receiving the light and let it flow down through your body out of base chakra and down deeply into the earth,

Greeting mother earth if you wish then calling this lovely light back up again coming up through our body and out of the crown chakra and sending it back to the source of the light lift it down again and as it flows through our body be aware of any sensation down into the earth embrace that light and gift it back up and this time as we inhale it down just bring it to the level of our heart resting in our heart chakra let the light settle there let it soften our hearts beautiful so resting in our hearts as we ask that this meditation today help us with determination with harmony and balance with good health and well-being taking a big breath in and just let that filter through your whole being and interesting determination is about our intent it's the power of our intent that drives our dreams what is it that you are determined about what is it that you are putting your will into to make this happen to continue on this path until you achieve your goal what is your purpose and if this is something that you really want that you're sure about then we wish to persevere until we reach this and sometimes it's quite difficult taking a big breath in relaxing being in your heart space there are many things that come along to dissuade us could be what other people say family or friends or things we hear on social media that undermine our the strength of our determination so let's let go of some of these distracting thoughts and ideas coming from elsewhere that undermines our goals and taking a big breath in and just breathing out through our throat chakra and releasing all the distractions that are coming from external sources other people's ideas differences of opinions and if there's any criticism out there let's release the impact that has upon us now so inhale and breathing out through your throat again letting go of the energy of criticism that's come your way taking another big breath in and releasing that from your solar plexus this time the effect of all this criticism having upon how we feel about ourself and sometimes it causes us to feel uncertain or doubtful about what we're doing or thinking or the goal that we've set or what we're trying to achieve so let's release some of that uncertainty and doubt about ourself our dream or our goal what it is we are wanting to achieve with our determination so breathing in and release from your solar plexus letting all of that uncertainty and doubt leave us now leave our solar plexus that's very good and let's just feel how that determination is so bring to mind what it is that you're trying to achieve bring that to mind now and just hold that in your mind so if there's any cloudiness in what this is just a little bit of lack of clarity about exactly what it is that we're wanting to achieve let's get rid of some of that cloudiness now so taking a big breath in and breathe out through asha chakra between your eyebrows releasing releasing any lack of clarity let's get rid of the clouds so we can see with crystal clarity what it is that we're trying to achieve and staying in that asha chakra because this is the beautiful chakra that helps us perceive so just perceiving now what it is that you are putting your determination into and then breathing into asha chakra down nice and deep strengthening this clarity and what it is breathing in again to asha chakra taking it out nice and deep and being aware of that pillar of light that we created earlier in the meditation and see that beautiful white light pouring down through the top of our head and coming into asha chakra pouring in helping to strengthen our clarity around what we're trying to achieve beautiful and let's strengthen our will around this now too we need to have this strong will to persevere to see this through to the end whether it's something that we have set for ourselves whether it's been given to us from somebody or something else we want to see it to the end so let's strengthen out our will that's our higher will that's going to help us move through all the obstacles so breathing into asha chakra and then breathing out through asha chakra just let go of any obstacles first of all to our will anything that's holding our will back anything that's preventing us from using our strong will okay and now breathing into asha chakra strengthening our will strengthening our will energizing this chakra asha chakra and strengthening our will we want to have strong will to put into our determination to achieve that which we wish to achieve whether this be something small or whether it's something large it doesn't matter we need to be determined to reach that so we have our clarity we know what it is and now we have the strength of our will so in achieving this we also need to be not not harsh with ourselves we need to be fair we need to be tolerant and we need to bring in some self-compassion into the situation too it is with this self-compassion that we will be able to ride the waves all sorts of obstacles may come in our path there'll be easy times and harder times to ride this we need to have that depth of self-compassion because life is not straightforward there's all sorts of trickiness that comes along to test us so just breathing into your heart chakra self-compassion some gentleness and understanding for our self and what we're trying to achieve breathing that into solar plexus this time and we also need to call in some self-approval so despite what anybody else thinks or believes if this is what we have set for ourself then we need to approve of it ourself and not outsource our approval to somebody else so breathing into solar plexus self-approval i give myself approval and i approve of that which i'm trying to achieve breathe that in again to solar plexus self-approval it feels good strong and now to also help us ride the waves of what other people think and do and say and all the differences between us that sometimes is a bit of a a muddle let's offer ourselves acceptance acceptance for who we are exactly who we are without needing to change anything so breathing into your solar plexus this is who i am now i'm growing and changing yes there's areas i'd like to improve but this is how i am just now inhale that into solar plexus this self-acceptance helps us to be more of the truth of ourself who we really are not trying to be what other people want us to be but being us and when we're being true to ourself we really come into our own then we really start to shine in our own lives and when we do this we relax more into our own life there seems to be more joy and just living our day-to-day life so breathing that self-acceptance in again beautiful so with this on board it's much easier for us to continue with our determination so there's always within all of us a vulnerable part that tends to self-sabotage us with what we're trying to achieve and this part of us needs to come on board with us as well it's that part that needs our nurturing our soothing our affection our understanding so just feeling into this vulnerable part of self this part that longs for our attention and just sending some love to this part of our self helping us to feel secure through loving the vulnerable part of our self as much as all the other parts of our self so just being with this vulnerable part of self is very very useful so just see if you can become comfortable with feeling into this part of yourself at the moment because it's of course it's okay to be vulnerable we all are we all do have this part of our self and it's a part of our self that we can nurture and by listening to our self and hearing what this part of our self has to say we grow stronger as a united whole self so breathing into your heart and let your heart feel whole and sending some of this love from your heart to this vulnerable part of self again and just feel the strength growing within and just feel into how united you feel with yourself and just letting go of any sense of isolation or disconnection inhale breathing up through the base of your spine base of your spine base chakra letting go of any distance disconnect isolation inhale breathing out from base chakra again and now breathing into base chakra strengthening this sense of being one in relationship with others this sense of belonging of beingness together breathing into base chakra beautiful now seeing our strength growing see that we're in this beautiful position of being balanced and aligned coming back up to ajna chakra and seeing our vision of what it is that we want to achieve seeing it in ajna chakra bringing it to mind now breathing into ajna again and let's offer our determination again now so breathing into your throat strengthening this part of our self to offer the expression into the world let this flow from you let your determination make it become manifest breathing into throat chakra beautiful breathing into your heart let this become something that has the touch of our love flowing into it as well so just see this love coming from your heart pouring into what it is that you want to achieve breathing into your solar plexus and this time feeling our confidence in who we are and what it is that we're doing being expressing breathing and solar plexus again and just feel this all lining up together and now breathing into base chakra and just seeing the strong foundation from which we are sending this into the world we are able to take each small step one after the other to achieve that which we wish to achieve that we're putting our determination into whether this be a dream that we wish to bring into reality whether this be a commitment that we have made that we want to follow through with may this be a purpose that we have and want to realize it and feel the satisfaction from this purpose then see and feel our way to completing this task that our determination will help us to succeed and breathing into the whole of your being into all of your chakras let this settle into all of your chakras let it settle into all the meridians connecting all of the chakras breathing in again and let this overflow into our aura so that which it is shines from us beautiful and just feeling this sense of strength of determination and just let us sit with that for a little while in meditation being aware of the light flowing in again through the top of our hands through crown chakra let this connection be stronger let us receive help through this universal light and energy so so so so and breathing in again let yourself expand and just allow yourself ever so gently now come back into the present come down to base chakra breathing down into the earth and breathing up from the earth breathing down into the earth connecting deeply grounding ourselves with mother nature mother earth breathing up from the earth and down to the earth so so you you you you you you
