Mary is a retired news anchor/reporter who is currently a college professor. As a practitioner and teacher of yoga and meditation for more than 20 years, Mary knows the impact it can have on your life. After having two traumatic experiences close together, Mary turned back to the mat to help heal herself and now she shares that with others through meditation. She talks about overcoming the traumas in her TED talk entitled "Kindness in the Midst of Chaos" She teaches both Hatha and Kundalini yoga. Mary has developed courses entitled "Rewrite Your Life Story," Yoga for Writers, Yoga For Artists in which she helps creatives tap into their creative energy and use meditation and mindfulness as a tool in the creative process.
