Hello and welcome to this guided meditation practice to love your innate goodness.
I'm Marisa Chastain,
Yoga and mindfulness teacher and personal growth coach.
Find a comfortable position where you are alert but at ease.
Let's begin.
Close your eyes or find a soft gaze.
Settle into your body.
Bring your awareness to this present moment.
Arrive here.
Take a deep inhale and a full exhale,
Emptying out any tension you may be holding in your body.
Continue to breathe at a comfortable pace,
Taking full inhales and complete exhales throughout this meditation.
Through this practice,
Hold yourself in the truth that you are innately good.
You were born good as a part of your natural being.
You do not need to find your way back to goodness.
It is within you always.
That goodness never leaves or dissipates or tarnishes.
It is always there,
Always intact,
And your unique goodness shines through you.
Place your hands over your heart and take deep breaths.
From under your hands,
Imagine a bright light originating from the center of your heart.
That light fills your chest.
That light feels warm,
Glowing,
And lovely.
Imagine that light illuminating further and further out throughout the rest of your body and into the space around you.
It is energy-giving light.
You can turn on your light anytime just like this by offering yourself unconditional loving kindness.
When you offer yourself unconditional loving kindness,
The light of your goodness radiates through you and out to others and into the world.
Offer yourself the following unconditional loving kindness.
Your heart is good.
Your soul is good.
Your whole being is good.
You are innately good.
You are uniquely good,
And your special light radiates from you and into the world.
You can release your hands if they are still on your heart.
Take a few final mindful breaths,
Acknowledging your light,
Your goodness,
And sealing this practice with love.
