This is an extract from a live session, in which I go down memory lane, and share a couple of anecdotes that showed me the blessings you get when you raise your vibration, to allow love and kindness lead your thoughts and actions. I do want to clarify that those blessings and gifts from the universe, come when you treat others with that love without expecting something in return. Today I'm going to talk about the power of kindness all right and like I was saying earlier I'm going back a couple of decades to my younger years and I remember I was in a club or disco not sure how you call them at some point there was a live advertisement for an alcoholic beverage it was rum if I'm not mistaken but this was very unique there was a group of people well I wanted to say young people but I was young too so they were my age and it was a group of guys and girls and they had this song and they had a choreography so they danced and well something was mentioned about the beverage whatever and then they just went to a table and they just started hanging out now this is something that some of you may not know but I used to and I I'm still a little bit shy but I kind of felt bad for them because nobody cheered they just did their dance and they just went to their seats and that was it right so with all the courage that I could muster I went to their table and said hey guys that was really cool I really liked your a dancing move so good job and then I turned around and well I was going back to my my table I was alone I don't think I had a table but to the place I where I was and then I heard some noises in the background kind of difficult to understand what it was because I was in a disco but I turned around and some of the of these folks were like hey come back come back so I came back and they were oh that was so sweet thank you very much would you like to stay with us I was like yeah sure why not now they were from another city from Mexico City and they were going to be there for the weekend so we became friends and we hang out during the weekend we exchange numbers and I felt really good because I follow an impulse to be kind to say something positive to someone little did I know a few months later I was going to travel to visit my family and my flight was going to the part really really early so I really don't remember the details but I talked to these guys and they said that I could stay a night at their office which was in Mexico City and well the airport I needed to go to was in Mexico City so I went there I was able to hang out with them a little bit and then I slept on a couch I mean I would say the moral of the story is that you never know what a small act of kindness can create for you in the future and of course I'm not saying that you should be kind because you should expect people to repay your kindness no that's not what I'm talking about if you think about it we are all connected we are all related we have a same the same origin and it's sad to think about this but it's really unusual for people that do not know each other to just out of the blue start a conversation to have some interactions we're very used to being overly emotional if we are interacting through our cell phones or social media and I remembered I'm gonna geek out a little bit but there's a show that some of you may know the Big Bang Theory it's a comedy really good by the way and there's one character his name is Sheldon Cooper so this guy is really awkward he has zero social skills and I remember that someone sent him a text it was a joke and he did not laugh at all he was really serious he was like this on his phone lol sent really funny because I mean that's the way we we act we send kisses and hugs and lols and smileys rolling on the floor whatever we don't act that way when we're in front of people if you just say hi to someone that is walking on the same street as you are if you just share a smile you never know what you're gonna get back sometimes I feel the impulse to smile to random people I would be a liar if I say that everyone smiles back but you do get that occasional smile and it feels really good it's like you are removing all the obstacles or all the barriers all the masks that we wear and we just became vulnerable in front of people and say hey I'm here hi I acknowledge your presence so here I am right so that's pretty much the essence of what I wanted to share today as you know we're going to have a meditation but I remember about this anecdote I would say maybe a couple of weeks ago and I don't remember talking about kindness before and I think it's really powerful and even if you just do it like I said before without any expectations you may feel surprised of how alive you're going to well feel it's like challenging the status quo like rebelling against the system and well I just want to clarify I'm not an anarchist or anything but it's really easy to remain in that comfort zone and we just open ourselves with people that are part of our inner circle I don't know I mean it fascinates me and I was in a mall earlier like I said I went to watch the latest Top Gun movie which is really cool by the way if you like that sort of stuff and I was kind of analyzing people I'm in a city that I have never been but I see similar patterns to people when I was living in Peru I mean everyone is going about their business they there will occasionally be someone that is looking at you but most of people don't they may look at you and then immediately change their gaze to some someplace else right and I almost smile at someone but I didn't I don't know I felt a little shy but I just want with today's topic to encourage you and myself to remember that we're human that we have feelings that other people have needs emotional needs and you never know if the next person that you're going to be well to show some kindness to that may become your best friend or something else or maybe that person is going to receive what they were looking for through you so don't be shy what's the worst thing that could happen well maybe they're not just going to ignore you but that's fine because they don't even know you I mean you will brush it off and go about your merry way anyways but what if what if that act of kindness that greet that hello or hola or whatever applies to your country what if that can make a person's day or yours who knows so don't be shy don't be shy if you feel like sharing something to someone with someone just do it and maybe if you want to experiment with it it doesn't matter what reason you used to do it but just do it

Hi Juan Pablo, I loved this audio, and I remember that live. I am, personally, very fond od kindness, bc in Judaism, kindness isn't optional, reaching out to others is a key part of working to make the world a better pkace. Being kind is integral to what it means to be a Jew, in hebrew it is called Guemilut Jasadim. Acts of kindness. Yes, we do not know what an act of kindness can bring to us, bc is part of giving and receiving. Thank you for your beautiful audio, it brings me happiness every time you publish something. Lots of love and kindness for you, with all of my heart and soul.🙏🏻🙌🏻🤲🏻❤️😊🤗🥰😘

Great advice! I tend to be very shy and have forced myself to do things that normally would scare me (like being a teacher!) and the results have been transformative! Thank you for the reminder 🙏
