Meditation Timer OnlineMaja is passionate about Vedic Wisdom and the freedom it offers for us individually on our path through life. The Vedic traditions are the foundational birthplace of Yoga and the path to self-realization. Meditation is an essential part of this path by providing the entry to our inner sanctuary that holds light, love, truth, beauty, and peace, the connection to universal consciousness and the field of all possibilities! Basically, Maja's work focuses on 'Yoga for the Mind' and is about expanding our mindful awareness, honing our conscious approach to ourselves and life in as many ways as possible. When we detach from all the confusion and distractions in the outside world and turn our focus inwards, the waves of inner turmoil start to soften until we can see clearly what matters in the mirror of our beautiful and still inner lake. Maja trained as a Yoga Teacher in 2016 (RYT200), is a certified Meditation Instructor (2021), is a certified Health & Life Coach (HCI 2019, 2014), and has maintained her own Yoga and meditation practice since 30 years. In 2022, Maja was certified in Ayurvedic Marma Technique (Ayurvedic energy point activation or acupressure). Marma Therapy is a guided meditation through touch and also a great self-healing modality. Maja runs in-person Yoga and Meditation classes, courses, workshops, and 1-on-1 tuition in Christchurch, New Zealand, as well as online.
