Silence.
I forget.
Until you arrive.
That I long for you.
Inside and outside.
Of my being.
Your emptiness.
Your sacred void.
Your container of infinite possibility.
I forget how close your presence always is for me.
A relaxing into.
A stopping.
A deep breath.
And you arrive.
Like a most welcome and cherished friend.
Whose presence alone offers a wellspring of contentment,
Replenishment,
And conscious awareness.
Of now.
This precious moment.
A reset from my mind's busy,
Distracted noise to my heart.
And deeper purpose for this body.
Your presence reminds me there is no time nor space.
That I and all of creation are timeless and infinite.
You grow within me,
Deepen in my bones,
Quiet in my nervous system.
And deliver me effortlessly into a oneness with all that surrounds me.
I become the scream of the seagulls and the soft breeze and the waves kissing the shore back and forth.
Dissolving into the utter magnificence of life in all its forms and all its majesty.
I am the endless sea,
Spread far and wide.
My breath is the tides and the dolphins and starfish play within my belly.
My head is the sun warming the earth,
Beaming golden rays,
Illuminating all life.
My arms embrace the clouds and the stars,
The butterflies and the black crows.
My feet are anchored with strong,
Thick roots reaching down,
Down into the moist soil.
Feeding deep,
Green source light to all of earth's terrain.
And she responds,
Delivering her light and life force up,
Up through her body into my feet and bones and flesh and blood.
Life is inside me and I in it.
One inhale,
One exhale and all is silent.
