Welcome to your daily moment of Zen.
Let's take a couple minutes together to just reconnect to that inner sense of calm,
That inner place of peace that we all possess.
So just find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying,
Whatever feels best for you in this moment.
Take a moment to settle in,
Getting comfortable.
And just taking a nice big breath in,
And a nice long exhale.
Let's do another breath like that.
A nice big calming inhale.
And just releasing everything on the exhale.
Just surrendering to this moment.
Nowhere else to be.
Nothing else to do.
Just you in your breath.
Just allow your breath to flow naturally,
Normally.
And let's start to invite relaxation into our bodies.
First of all,
Just relaxing all the little muscles around the eyes.
Relaxing the mouth and the jaw.
Inviting relaxation into the neck and the shoulders.
Taking another big breath in and out.
Just feeling those shoulders dropping down away from the ears.
Tension just melting away.
Feeling that relaxation moving down through both of your arms.
All the way down into your fingertips.
Relaxing through the back of your body.
Feeling through the chest and the heart area.
Taking a big breath into your belly.
Releasing any tension on the exhale.
Feeling that belly become completely relaxed.
Feeling that relaxation starting to move down through both of your legs.
Your upper legs.
Your lower legs.
All the way down into your toes and the soles of your feet.
Taking another big breath in and a nice long exhale.
Just allowing yourself to surrender into the relaxation.
Feeling it in every cell,
Every muscle,
In your mind,
In your body.
And just knowing that you can access this inner calm.
This state of relaxation whenever you need to.
You can gently open your eyes and take this sense of calm and relaxation with you for the rest of your day.
