Explore MeditationLisa Firer is a facilitator of embodiment practices including somatic movement, dance movement and mindfulness meditation. She weaves her offerings together to support others in stress relief and pain recovery, self-expression and self-compassion for living life joyfully and deeply. She trained to teach the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme in 2005 at the University of Massachusetts, USA, Centre for Mindfulness and has a certification in teaching Mindfulness-based Interventions from Stellenbosch University. Lisa is also an internationally accredited Biodanza facilitator, a system of human development using music and movement. She is a Level 3 facilitator of Clinical Somatic Movement through the Somatic Movement Centre and has a certification in Pain Reprocessing Therapy from the Pain Psychology Centre.
