Lisa Chaves believes the body is more than something to exercise—it’s a place to come home to. After spending more than 20 years in New York City as a trainer and rehabilitation specialist, and earning a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, she discovered that true healing isn’t just about strengthening the body—it’s about reconnecting with it. Today, she blends movement, breath, meditation, and embodied awareness to help people step out of their heads and back into the wisdom of their bodies. Her approach combines science with intuition, inviting people to move with curiosity instead of judgment and cultivate strength, freedom, resilience, and peace. Now living in Costa Rica, Lisa draws inspiration from nature and believes healing doesn’t always require doing more. Sometimes it begins by slowing down, listening, and allowing ourselves to simply be. She believes movement is one of the most powerful pathways back to presence.
