Lindsey Carr

Lindsey is a Wellbeing Career Coach who strongly believes that people can enjoy the way they earn a living! We spend so much of our time working, for most people it’s their main activity every week. At times we can experience stress or anxiety around work, even when we're not actually there (e.g. the Sunday evening dread). Lindsey would love to give you your life back! She knows how it feels to be anxious or stressed about work. For many years Lindsey found transitions difficult, had imposter syndrome, got burnt out and spent much of her free time ‘recovering’ from work. She was a perfectionist and overthinker. After many years of seeking help through psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, CBT, yoga and meditation, she came across the Three Principles Understanding about how life and humans work. This Understanding has changed her life, enabling her to do life with more ease and she brings this into her practice with clients. She qualified in 2009 as a careers practitioner and has worked with young people and adults since. Clients contact Lindsey when they feel lost, stuck, confused or overwhelmed. They don’t know whether to stay or leave their job/course, what else they could do or how to decide, etc She guides people to clarity, so that they can they can stop feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stressed about their job. And so that they can make a decision that’s right for them. You will find her kind, gentle and non-judgemental approach a balm for your busy mind.

This is helpful. It isn’t always possible to put off a task if I’m on a deadline, but even just a few minutes of space to change how I’m feeling can shift things. Thank you.

Helpful approaches for dealing with procrastination. Like you, I usually take time to ask myself what's getting in the way ... And allow the answers to show up - sitting quietly, or out on a walk can also help!
