Being drawn to work with individuals and groups that want to deepen their stillness practice and value their own experience in meditation, Sati Sangha is able to offer online and local meditation groups, and retreats. In mentoring meditation teachers, my attention is focused on the dharma, and it is a privilege to be able to do so. I try to hold this all lightly, yet I cannot deny the sense of having ‘a calling’ rather than a job.

I liked the format of this practice with a complete silent period. It was a good and challenging experience. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️

Just trying out reflective meditation then journaling. Have already had so many more insights than when I try and do a specific “technique” . Thank you Linda.

Wow! 😮 I really enjoyed this practice. This may be the longest I’ve sat in silence in a meditation 🧘🏽‍♀️ practice. I found it divine- blissful - & interesting to watch my mind. It was peaceful. I did have thoughts of course. Is it ok to “talk to yourself” during a meditation ( ie - tell yourself to pay attention to your breath - tell yourself sit & know that you’re sitting - or it’s ok, that’s just a thought, you don’t have to follow it- ) I do find this self talk helpful( I’m not saying them out loud, but in my head) — there are just useful nuggets I’ve picked up along the way while listening to so many guided meditations. I’ve always wondered if this was more of my monkey mind? Or just me self guiding!? Your thoughts on this would be very much appreciated. 🙏🏽

I thought it a lovely idea to substitute heartfelt discussion for an authoritative Dharma talk. I found my bottom line for meditation to be holding steady on the changing ocean of life experience.

This was my first silent meditation. It was very challenging. My mind wandered so much to such random things. I was able to come back to my breath many times. I will try another time.

Thank you. Everyone’s words resonated with a part of me. Meditation and stillness always opens new doors with new ideas. Thank you again

I meditate because it freed & frees me from being a Sysiphus, it allows me to place my foot on ego-self neck, it allows me to walk on water, to quench my purpose need, curiosity & adventure need for ever expanding knowing. In short: I meditate because I enjoy it; it makes me live!
