Welcome,
Dear soul.
The autumn equinox has arrived.
That brief sacred moment when the light and the dark stand equal.
The Earth is turning inward now.
Doing what the soul already knows how to do.
Releasing.
But fed it through the light.
So it can carry what matters through the deep.
And tonight,
The first full moon of autumn is rising.
The harvest moon.
Full and bright in the sign of Ares.
These guided meditations are created alongside nature,
Who sings her song of soul every day.
To guide you gently inward and to shine a mirror to your own soul.
The love and truth you already hold.
And the possibility and presence to live a soul-centered life.
Because that is what soul means here.
Your song of uniting love.
Within and without.
Above and below.
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable place to settle.
Sitting or laying down.
Allow your body to be held by the surface you have chosen.
Let your eyes gently close.
Arrive here,
Just as you are.
You are seen.
You are held.
And you are heard.
Balance of light has tipped.
The days are growing shorter.
Land is beginning to let go of what it grew through the long bright months.
This is a full moon in Aries.
Sign of fire.
Of courage.
Of claiming what is yours.
And it is arriving at the turning of the season to have you tune in.
What have you grown this year that is worth gathering in?
Breathe in.
.
.
And let it go.
Breathe in again.
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself soften into this question.
What have you grown this year that is worth gathering in?
Imagine now.
That you are standing at the edge of a wide,
Open field.
It is late September.
The sun is low.
The last long light of the day reaching across the land.
Golden.
Amber.
Kind of light that touches everything sideways and makes it glow.
And behind you.
Just above the horizon.
The moon is rising.
Full.
Round.
Enormous.
The way she always is when she is this close to the earth.
The harvest moon arriving just as the sun lets go of the day.
Feel this moment.
The warmth of the day still held in the soil beneath your feet.
The coolness of the evening just beginning to reach your skin.
The sky turning from gold to rose to the deep blue of dusk.
And the moon climbing slowly.
Lighting the field from behind you now.
And all around you the field is full.
Of what grew this year.
Full of what the earth held through spring,
Through summer.
Through the long days of tending and waiting.
Some of it you planted with intention.
Some of it arrived without your knowing.
Seeds carried by wind.
By water.
By the quiet persistence of roots you forgot were there.
Now all of it is here.
Illuminated by the moon.
Not all of it will survive the season ahead.
The land knows this.
The trees are already beginning to release their leaves.
Not in grief,
Yet in wisdom.
Letting go of what fed them through the light.
So they can carry what matters through the deeper months ahead.
The last of the sunlight has gone now.
And the moon has taken over.
Silver where the gold was,
Steady where the warmth was fading.
She is higher now.
And the field is glowing beneath her.
So tonight,
Under this harvest moon,
You are being asked to walk into this field.
Not to admire it from a distance.
Not to plan what you will do next season.
Yet to walk in.
And to gather.
Feel your hands now.
Feel the warmth in your palms.
These hands have held so much this year.
They have carried,
Lifted.
Offered.
And let go.
And tonight they are here to receive.
To harvest.
Begin to walk through the field.
Slowly.
Let the grasses brush your ankles.
Tonight the moon is also wrapped in Neptune's light.
The planet of dreams,
Of intuition,
Of deep knowing.
She is softening the fire of Aries just enough.
That you feel your way through this field.
Trust what you feel here.
What your soul recognizes before the words arrive.
And as you walk,
Notice what calls to you.
What sings to you.
Not the loudest call.
Not the song most played.
The one that you hear.
That hears you.
And that nourishes you.
Maybe it is a relationship that deepened quietly while you were looking elsewhere.
Maybe it is a truth you fondly spoke aloud.
Maybe it is something you stopped doing,
A weight you set down,
And the lightness that followed.
Maybe it is simply this.
That you are still here,
Still walking.
Still growing with and toward your own light.
Whatever it is.
Reach for it now.
Gently.
The way you would reach for fruit that is ripe and ready and asking to be held.
Gather it in.
Feel the weight of it in your hands.
Feel how it steadies you.
Feel how your body knows the difference between what nourishes and what depletes.
The moon is high now.
Fully above you.
Right and undeniable.
The way only an Aries moon can be.
This full moon carries fire.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac,
The spark,
The beginning.
Part of you that says,
I am here.
I have always been here.
And tonight,
Standing in this field with your harvest gathered close.
The fire is not asking you to begin something new.
It is asking you to choose.
To look at what you are holding and say,
This is mine.
This is what I am carrying forward.
This is the light I grew.
And I am claiming it.
My light.
Is my harvest.
And not because someone gave you permission,
Not because the world said it was enough.
Because you know.
Your soul knows.
Your body knows.
And anything here that is not yours to carry,
Anything you grew for someone else.
Anything that looks like it should matter but does not feed you.
You can set it down now.
Field.
Where it can return to the earth and become something else for someone else in another season.
Do not have to carry everything you grew.
You only have to carry what is yours.
The moon is holding the whole field now.
Everything is silver.
Everything is still.
This is the moon that once lit the fields so the harvest could continue into the night.
The moon that said,
There is still time.
There is still life.
Keep gathering them.
And tonight,
She is saying this to you.
There is still light.
Your light.
The light you create.
Gather and harvest your light.
Your light to sustain you through the months ahead.
Begin now to feel the weight of your body again.
The breath moving through you.
Mother Earth holding you.
Holding the soul and heart of you.
Bring your hands to rest over your heart.
Feel what you have gathered.
Feel how it lives in you now.
God is something you must protect.
But as something that has already taken root.
This is your harvest.
Grown by you.
Claimed by you.
Carried forward by you.
Into the quieter,
Deeper months ahead.
When you are ready.
And only when you are ready.
Let your eyes open gently into this new season.
Season gathered with your light.
Go gently,
Dear soul.
