Welcome to this grounding meditation with me Dr.
Layla.
Take a deep breath in and close your eyes.
We're going to be grounding energy so that you can hold more energy in your body.
Give your shoulders a gentle roll releasing any tension.
Move your head gently on your neck to release any tension in the neck.
Relax your jaw.
Make sure your feet are firmly on the ground if you're sitting and focus your attention on your breath.
I'm going to invite you to breathe all the way out,
Out,
Out and then take a deep breath in and as you breathe out now imagine that you're sending roots down through your feet or your body into the earth.
See those roots diving deeply under the earth's surface,
Wrapping around rocks and other roots,
Meeting underground animals.
See them strong and growing deeply into the ground and with each out breath send your roots down deeper anchoring you into the earth and into the energy of the earth solid,
Calm,
Peaceful.
Now see that those roots are diving so deeply that they reach a place where there's a pool of pink light and your roots start to tap into that pool of pink earth energy.
With each in breath you're going to draw that pink energy up into your heart space.
With each out breath you can release any tension in the body back down into the earth and with each in breath drawing up this beautiful calm pink light and you might visualize your heart space as a cup,
A beautiful treasured cup which is slowly filling with this pink earth energy.
Breathing out tension,
Breathing in the calm peaceful pink earth light and now notice that the cup in your heart is beginning to overflow.
It's so full of this slightly effervescent pink light,
It's beginning to overflow.
So now with each in breath drawing more pink light up and with each out breath sending the pink light out into every cell of your body calming and relaxing every cell of your body.
Breathing in drawing the pink light up and breathing out sending its energy into every cell and you might notice that your body feels warm or a little bit tingly or light as you do this.
Your roots are firmly grounded into the earth and your body is exchanging energy with the earth.
You're a part of this system,
You were put here totally perfect as you are part of the earth,
Part of this system.
You belong,
The earth will always support you because you are part of her.
Taking one more deep breath in letting it go with a long slow exhalation and we're going to bring a little bit of movement back into the body now moving the fingers and the toes,
Turning the wrists and the ankles.
You might want to have a stretch overhead as you slowly bring yourself back into your space and when you're ready opening your eyes looking around,
