Welcome to this deep rest in perimenopause meditation.
My name is Kristen Timchak of the Nourished Nervous System,
And I will be your guide today.
So perimenopause is this time of metabolic,
Hormonal,
And neurological transition and changes.
And during this time of life,
We need more deep restoration in order to stay balanced and move through the transition more easefully.
On that note,
Find a position for your body that is comfortable.
A position where you feel supported,
Whether that's.
.
.
Seated on a cushion or in a chair or lying on the floor or your bed.
Let your body find a place of comfort and ease.
If it feels good to close your eyes,
Let them close or have a soft gaze,
Bringing the attention inward.
And then bringing your attention into your body.
Noticing your body breathing without needing to change it.
Just following each breath in and out.
You bringing your attention.
Down deep into the center of the earth.
Noticing how it looks and feels there.
Noticing the pull of gravity.
On your body.
This downward pull.
And noticing any places in your body that are resisting that pull.
And seeing if you can soften in any of those places.
Letting the weight of your body be supported.
By the earth beneath you.
And then tuning in to the space above your body,
Whether you're sitting or lying down.
Letting your awareness reach out into that infinite space.
This place of intuition and spirit and possibility.
And feeling your body.
As a conduit between.
These two forces.
The surrendering pull of gravity.
And the expansive.
Space above you.
And release all effort.
Letting your body rest.
Perfectly held by Earth and space.
Bringing awareness to your heart center.
Noticing a point of light glowing in your heart center.
And then your throat center.
Forehead center.

Rest.
In all these points of light.
The points of light begin to glow.
Glow more brightly all throughout your body.
Flowing so brightly they create a cocoon of golden light.
Shining energy.
Of prana,
Life force,
Surrounding your entire body.
And in this cocoon.
Of life force,
Of energy.
Your body can rest.
I can bathe.
In all of this energy.
The prana knows where to go.
Goes to the parts of your body that need the most nourishment.
The most rejuvenation.
The most healing.
All you need to do is rest in this glowing cocoon of prana.
Letting it bathe your cells in this nourishing energy.
You Thanks for watching!
Letting your mind quiet.
If thoughts or distractions arise.
Gently coming back.
To your body breathing,
To that rhythm of breath.
As it ripples through.
This glowing energy surrounding your body.
You all of your cells bathed in prana,
Life force.
As your body resets and restores.
You Your breath creates a rhythm,
Slow,
Gentle.
For your nervous system to attune to.
You soaking in.
This healing energy.
Releasing all effort.
Taking a moment in nothingness.
Without thought or visualization or effort,
Just a moment to be.
However you are right now.
You and then feeling.
The physical boundaries of your body.
Feeling the temperature of the air on your skin or the feeling of your clothes on your skin.
Feeling your breath.
Through your body.
Feeling the support beneath you.
The earth deep beneath you,
Holding you in gravity.
.
.
And space expanding infinitely above you.
In your body,
A perfect conduit between Earth and space.
Containing all the elements,
Earth,
Water,
Fire,
Wind,
Space.
All moving in perfect harmony inside this physical body.
Noticing any sounds in your space.
Any smells.
Any lingering tastes in your mouth.
And slowly begin to bring some gentle movement back into your body,
Some wiggling of fingers and toes.
Coming back into this room,
Into this space.
And if you're lying down,
Finding a pathway to seated.
Once you find yourself in a seated position,
Just taking a moment to pause.
To feel anything that's changed in body,
Mind,
And spirit.
Feel this quiet,
Restorative space.
And to know that this space is always here for you to come back to,
For rest,
For rejuvenation.
As you ride these waters of change.
Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
