Your mindfulness meditation.
Truly,
When you give to yourself,
You give to others.
You are giving to the world by attending to yourself.
And so again,
I thank you.
I appreciate you.
I think you're on the right road.
The right road is.

It's relative,
Isn't it?
For one road is not the road of life.
We are all on our own path.
And perhaps observing that path.
Perhaps that's one of the sweetest aspects of life.
The ability to observe it.
And just observe it.
To be and bear witness.
And so I've decided that our meditation will be about peace with one's life path.
Peace with the path of others.
Peace.
So.

.
Right now,
I'd like for you to find a comfortable way to sit,
Stand,
Lie down.
Whatever feels just right for you.
I'd like for you to find that now.
That posture.
And if it feels okay for you,
Once you are in that posture that best suits you,
I'd like for you to take a moment.
With your eyes open.
To just look around the room.
Look around your space.
What do you see?
Do you see colors?
Shapes?
Perhaps letters or numbers?
Without allowing too much focus on each.
Just observe them.
Give them no meaning.
Allow them no time.
Just observe it.
Perhaps you can hear something close to you or afar off.
Can you hear those things?
Just witness them right now.
No need to give attention to them.
We are but witnessing.
Just now.
And when it feels okay for you,
Perhaps close your eyes.
And place your attention to the sensations of your breathing body.
If you decide to keep your eyes open.
Perhaps allow your gaze to just rest.
Thank you.
See if you can connect and sustain your attention to the full length of your inhale.
Allow yourself to experience the full length of the inhale.
The whole thing.
See if you can connect and sustain your attention to the full length of the exhale.
Allow yourself to experience the full length of the exhale.
As you continue to become more aware of your breathing body.
Perhaps slowly bring your attention to your forehead.
And feel the energy of your mind behind the eyes.
Just at the temples.
Perhaps allow any tension in the muscles of your face to just go.
To evaporate.
To loosen.
Bring awareness to the hollow space of the mouth.
See if you can release any tension at your neck or throat.
As you send the breath down into the body.
Begin to pour your awareness down into your body.
And for a moment just hold that awareness deep inside of you.
As you observe your breath.
The rich expanse of your lungs.
The soft collapse of the exhale.
The gravity of your body.
Held sweetly,
Comfortably by the planet below you.
Please be here just now.
Perhaps slowly begin to move awareness across the body.
Perhaps slowly begin to move awareness across the top of your shoulders.
Releasing any tension that you can be aware of.
Let your awareness slowly move down into your biceps and elbows.
Down into your forearms.
Down into your wrists.
And if it feels right for you.
Bring that awareness into your hands.
Feeling sensations in all your fingers.
Anchor yourself in your breath.
Anchor yourself to the right now.
And if you begin to recognize that your mind wanders or that you become lost in your thoughts,
Plans,
Memories.
Just take a short pause.
And then bring your attention back to the sensations of your breathing body.
And as you continue to focus on this breathing body,
Perhaps you can also bring an attitude of kindness and friendliness towards yourself.
And if you find this to be challenging,
You can just offer yourself a simple phrase of,
May I be at ease.
May I be at ease.
May I be at ease.
And perhaps we'll now bring your attention back to the center of the body.
And feel the sensations of breath at your belly.
Allow the belly to just soften and loose.
And feel the rise and fall of your breathing.
And perhaps you'll say with me this phrase.
May I be at peace with my life path.
May I be at peace with the path of others.
May I be at peace with my life path.
May I be at peace with the path of others.
Deep breath now here for a count of five.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And hold and exhale a sigh.
And again say with me.
May I be at peace with the life path of others.
May I be at peace with my life path.
May I be at peace with the path of others.
May I be at peace with the life path.
May I be at peace with my life path.
May I be at peace with the life path of others.

Perhaps you'll move your body around,
Move your shoulders slowly.
Slowly move your neck,
Your head from right to left.
Wiggle your toes,
Your fingers if that feels right for you.
Eyes still closed.
I'd like for you to observe your breath with your eyes closed.
Deep breath.
And as you exhale softly,
Open your eyes.
And come back.
Open your eyes.
Take in the fullness of what's around you.
Continuing to be present right now.
And it's my hope and prayer that you continue to reflect on the phrases that we shared today this evening.
May I be at peace with my life path.
