I invite you to a gentle moment of peace, a soothing bedtime meditation designed to help you unwind, release the day, and drift into deep rest. When your mind is still spinning and your body holds onto tension, this practice will guide you back home, to calm, to softness, to stillness. We’ll begin by grounding you through the breath, letting go of the noise of the day. Then, I’ll invite you to relax every part of your body, welcoming a wave of peace that slowly spreads from head to toe. Finally, we’ll visualize a warm, comforting light wrapping you in safety and serenity, preparing you for a night of restful sleep. Take this time for yourself to slow down, to reconnect with your inner peace, and to surrender gently to sleep. Welcome to this guided sleep meditation.

A time just for you to unwind,

To let go and to gently ease into deep restful sleep.

Allow yourself to settle into a comfortable position.

Feel the softness beneath you,

Fully supporting your body.

Take a slow deep breath in,

And gently exhale.

With each breath,

You are inviting stillness.

With each exhale,

You are letting go of the day.

There is no rush,

Nothing to do,

Nowhere to be.

Just this moment,

Just to rest.

Now let's begin.

Bring your awareness to your body.

Feel the weight of your body,

The gentle pull downward,

As if the earth itself is holding you,

Cradling you in stillness.

Now slowly scan for any tension,

Starting from your forehead,

Down to your shoulders,

Through your arms,

Your hands,

Your legs,

All the way to your toes.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Allow your body to soften,

Sinking deeper into comfort.

Imagine each inhale bringing in calm,

And each exhale carrying away the weight of your day.

There is nothing to hold on to,

Nothing you need to control.

Just breathe,

And allow yourself to be.

Now gently shift your awareness to your breath.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Feeling your belly rise.

Exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing all tension.

Again a deep inhale,

Feeling your legs with warmth and peace,

And a long gentle exhale,

Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.

Let your breath find its own natural rhythm now,

Effortless,

Smooth,

A steady flow,

Guiding you into a deeper relaxation.

Each inhale draws you inward,

Each exhale carries you closer to rest.

And now let's move through a gentle body scan.

Bring your awareness to the very tips of your toes.

Feel a warm,

Soothing sensation gently spreading through them,

As if a soft wave of relaxation is washing over your feet,

Dissolving any tension.

This warmth now moves into your ankles,

Your lower legs,

Your knees,

Your thighs soften,

Your hips loosen,

Your entire lower body sinking deeper and deeper into stillness.

Now bring your focus to your abdomen.

With each breath,

Feel it expand and contract naturally.

Let it soften,

Let go of any tightness,

Allowing full relaxation to flow through you.

Now your chest,

Light and open.

Your heart beats in a slow,

Steady rhythm,

Sending waves of calm through the body.

Your shoulders,

Drop them naturally and let go of any tension stored here,

Effortless.

Your arms now relax,

From your upper arms to your elbows,

Down to your hands and fingers.

They are warm,

Heavy and completely at ease.

Now bring awareness to your neck,

Your jaw,

Releasing any tightness.

Let your lips part slightly,

As if sighting out the last traces of stress.

Your forehead softens,

Your eyes become heavy,

Even the tiny muscles around your brows relax.

Your entire body is now enveloped in stillness,

Relaxed.

Let go completely now,

Allow yourself to drift deeper into rest.

And now imagine yourself lying beneath a vast open sky.

The stars above twinkle softly,

Casting a warm,

Golden glow.

The night air is cool and refreshing,

Wrapping around you like a gentle embrace.

Above you,

The stars shimmer,

Their light soothing,

Peaceful,

Constant.

You feel yourself sinking into this moment,

Becoming part of the stillness around you.

With each breath,

You feel lighter,

As if floating among the stars,

Drifting effortlessly,

Weightless.

The world is quiet now,

All that exists is this beautiful,

Infinite night.

A safe,

Comforting space,

Just for you.

And as you flow deeper into relaxation,

You feel a sense of pure tranquility,

Completely at ease,

Completely at peace.

And now,

Let everything go.

Let your breath become softer,

Slower,

Effortless.

Each inhale draws you deeper into comfort,

Each exhale carries you closer to sleep.

There is nothing left to do,

No thoughts to hold on to,

Only rest.

You are safe.

You are at peace.

Sleep is here,

Wrapping around you like a warm,

Protective cocoon.
