For Scarlet

This happy piece was written for my first grandchild. Her birth was long and difficult. For two days she and her parents did not sleep. I held her and synchronised my breathing with hers. She stopped crying and after a short while fell into sleep. I held her there for three hours and felt a bonding with this new beautiful being.

I like the Shakuhachi in this one. The Shakuhachi is a wonderful instrument to bring one's attention to the breath.
