So has it's time to go to sleep?
I just want you to start by getting really comfortable.
Make yourself in the position that you would be if you were fast asleep.
So your most comfortable sleeping position and I want you to just start by pretending you're asleep.
So making your body.
Look as if it's asleep as if someone was looking at you they think you were fast asleep.
So eyes closed.
Nice and still,
Really comfortable.
And just slowing down your breathing.
Settling in.
Getting really cozy and comfortable.
And with your eyes closed.
I want you to take yourself somewhere in your imagination.
And I'm going to tell you where that somewhere is.
But first of all.
.
.
Just relax.
Focus on soft slow breathing.
All the way from the top of your head.
To the tips of your toes.
Softening.
And relaxing.
And as your breathing settles and slows with your eyes nicely closed,
Gently,
Softly,
Take yourself in your imagination in your mind's eye.
To the edge of a beautiful forest.
And you might see that forest really clearly in your mind or you might have to make it up.
Either spine.
Create,
See,
Imagine or know that you are standing just outside.
The edge.
Of a beautiful forest.
And as you stand at the edge of this beautiful forest you just know that this is your sleepy forest.
This is the place that you can go in your imagination to just drift.
To soften,
To slow and to sleep.
So it's a magical.
Sleepy forest.
As you stand at the edge of this beautiful forest.
You're just looking in.
Noticing.
And you can see at the edge of this beautiful forest that it looks really safe.
Really inviting.
Really nice.
It's somewhere that you really want to go inside and you just know that if you step inside this wonderful,
Dreamy,
Calm forest you're going to immediately begin to feel wonderful,
Dreamy and calm.
And you know that this forest is perfectly safe.
It's one of those forests that's just filled with lovely things,
Lovely creatures,
Lovely sounds,
Lovely sights,
Lovely smells,
Filled with nature,
Softness and safety.
And so as you're at the edge of this forest,
You decide that you are going to step inside.
As you take a step towards this beautiful forest it becomes even more inviting.
Even more lovely.
Even more calming,
Soothing and safe.
And as you step your feet one at a time.
Carefully,
Softly and gently into the forest from the outside edge.
Immediately as you enter this forest you just feel so much calmer,
So much safer.
So much sleepier,
So much more ready to just rest and sleep.
And as you walk into this forest,
Stepping softly and carefully and easily,
One foot at a time,
You notice first.
The ground beneath your feet.
It's so soft,
But not so soft that you sink into it.
Just soft and spongy,
Springy.
Just the earth,
The soil,
The grass beneath your feet,
Feeling so,
So,
So comfortable.
It's so easy to walk.
So soft.
So comfortable.
And as you walk you notice under feet you're just crunching on leaves.
Stepping on soil.
Moving through the forest path.
Easily.
Effortlessly.
I'm so.
.
.
Happily.
And as you continue to walk a little deeper into this safe,
Sleepy forest,
You notice.
Or the sights around you.
You notice butterflies.
Butt.
Peace.
Flowers.
Plan.
You notice trees.
You notice insects.
You notice all the creatures of the forest.
Safe.
Beautiful just going about their daily business.
They hardly notice you because they know that you're safe.
You won't do them any harm.
And they can just continue.
Going about their daily business in the forest.
So just take some time to look around and notice what you notice in the forest.
Notice what you see.
The animals.
The birds.
The insects.
The trees.
All the plants and flowers.
You notice bright flowers.
You notice small flowers.
And you can even see so many different grasses and plants.
So beautiful,
So natural,
So calming in this wonderful sleepy forest.
As you just take some time to notice and see what you can see in this forest as you continue to walk deeper and deeper further and further into this safe calming.
Soothing.
Sleepy Forest.
As you see what you can see.
You first notice all the colors of the forest.
The colours of the plants,
The colours of the sky,
The colours of the grass.
The colours of the earth and the soil.
The colours of the flowers.
And you notice so many beautiful colours.
Blues,
So many shades of blues.
Blue sky,
Blue flowers,
Blue on the birds.
Greens,
Green on the grass.
And darker green on the leaves of the trees and lighter green deeper into the forest in the distance.
So many shades of green,
Natural,
Calming,
Soothing green.
Yellow,
So many shades of yellows,
Butterflies,
Birds,
Flowers.
Grounds of the bark of the tree.
Browns of the branches of the trees.
Grounds of the feathers of the birds.
So many shades of brown.
Some of the browns on the birds are darker than other browns which are lighter.
So many beautiful shades of brown.
And you notice oranges,
Colours of orange flowers,
Even some speckles of orange in some birds.
And so many shades of red of pink.
Of purple.
All blues,
All the different blues.
There's whites and there's blacks and so many colors.
Some colors you don't think you've even seen before.
They're so rich and special.
All the shades of nature.
All the colours of the forest.
Beautiful,
Sparkling,
Shining and dull.
Like a painting with so many colors.
The natural colours of the forest.
Can you notice?
So many birds.
And as you notice so many different birds,
You begin to notice the sounds of the forest.
And you notice that you can hear so much birdsong.
Sweet,
Soothing,
Calming,
Chirping,
Tweeting and singing of the birds.
Singing of the big birds and singing of the tiny little birds.
So much birdsong,
Like an orchestra of birds.
And as you hear the birds singing,
Just focus in and listen to all the other sounds of the forest.
And you can hear the rustling of the leaves,
The swishing of the grass.
The wind as it gently hums through the trees.
The breeze as it blows softly through the branches and through the blades of the grass.
And you can hear The sounds of animals,
All kinds of forest animals,
Eating,
Moving,
Playing,
Just going about their daily business.
Not noticing you,
But you're part of this sleepy,
Calm,
Special forest and they know that you're safe.
And they know that you'll do them no harm,
Just as they'll do you no harm.
Feel all peaceful.
Calm.
Safe and sleepy in this forest.
Can you notice?
What you can feel in the forest.
The squashing of the soil beneath your feet.
The softness.
Of the soil and the ground underneath.
And as you walk past the trees,
You just gently touch your fingertips on them,
Feeling their scratchy bark.
And perhaps you touch some of the leaves of the trees and they feel so soft,
So moist.
So gentle.
Perhaps there's a taste in the air.
Really clean,
Clear forest air.
Feeling so natural,
So soothing,
So safe.
And then just spend some time noticing all the things you can see.
All the sounds you can hear.
And ohhhhhh.
The sensations,
The feelings of this wonderful sleepy forest.
Any tastes.
Any thoughts?
Anything you see,
Feel and hear.
And you decide to just walk deeper and deeper into this wonderful,
Special,
Magical,
Sleepy forest.
Deeper and deeper.
Further and further.
Sleepier and sleepier.
Every step you take into this wonderful forest you just feel a little bit more calm,
A little bit more sleepy.
A little bit more settled,
Soothed and ready to drift off into a wonderful sleep with this wonderful forest in your imagination and maybe in your dreams.
Just keep walking deeper and deeper.
Into this forest.
Deeper and deeper.
Further and further.
Still so safe,
So comforting,
So soothing,
So sleepy.
So wonderfully restful and calming and special.
And just up ahead,
What's that on the path ahead?
You notice a deer.
And its baby fawn.
And they notice you.
But they carry on.
Because they know they're safe.
They know you're safe.
And they look like.
A reading.
Just nibbling the grass.
Calmly.
Most silently.
And then they look like as they notice you.
I just.
.
.
Looking a little more tired,
A little more sleepy.
And you notice as they just settle down in the grass.
And they curl up.
Ready to sleep.
To rest.
And sleep.
And you notice the temperature of this lovely forest is just perfect for you and perfect for sleep.
You notice the sound of this forest is just soothing and gentle and full of natural sounds and nature just sleepy sounds.
You walk a little further ahead in this wonderful,
Sleepy,
Calm forest.
And as you walk ahead you notice two paths in this forest.
And you know that these two paths go in different directions.
One to the left.
And one to the right.
And the path to the left.
Takes you deeper and deeper into a really gentle safe easy rest and the further you go along the path on the left the more restful and calm you feel.
And then the path on the right takes you deeper and deeper into sleep.
So the further you go on the path on the right,
The further you go into your night of sleep.
And isn't that wonderful to choose to just rest?
Or to choose to sleep.
And because you have that choice,
You decide it's time to sleep.
And so you choose to walk.
To the path on the right.
And you choose to step forward.
Softly,
Gently,
Easily.
Further and further.
Towards and then along.
The path.
On the right.
And that path on the right is the path to sleep.
To wonderful,
Soothing,
Calming,
Healing.
Gentle.
.
.
Easy.
.
.
Enjoyable sleep.
So you walk along this path on the right.
This path.
To sleep.
And step after step.
You go further and further.
Closer and closer.
To sleep.
Footstep by footstep.
Walking along.
The wonderful path.
To sleep.
Step by step.
Moving along.
The wonderful path.
To sleep.
Step by step.
Walking along,
Travelling down,
Further and further.
Traveling along.
Further and further.
Stepping,
Walking,
Traveling,
Moving further and further down this path.
His sleep.
Step by step.
Closer and closer.
To sleep.
Step.
Step by step.
Deeper and deeper.
Further.
And further.
Sleep.
Further and further.
To sleep.
Closer.
And closer.
His sleep.
Moving along.
To sleep.
Drifting down.
To sleep.
Who sleep.
Sleep.
Sleep.
Sleep.
Sleep.
Sleep.
Nee.
Wonderful sleep.
You feel so good to sleep.
Sleep.
Sleepy,
Sleepy.
Sleepy sleep.
Deeply.
To sleep.
