Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Just gently close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale let go of any tension or distractions.
Just begin by bringing your attention to your breath.
Notice the sensation of the breath flowing in and out of your body.
Allow your breath to become smooth,
Relaxed and natural.
And as you breathe here I want you to shift your focus to gratitude.
Bring to mind something or someone you are truly,
Deeply grateful for.
It could be a person,
A cherished memory,
A beautiful moment in nature or even something as simple as the gift of life itself.
Feel a warm sense of gratitude just blossoming within your heart.
With each inhale just imagine you're breathing in gratitude.
Feel it expanding within you,
Radiating through your entire being.
And with each exhale just release any worries,
Tension or negativity allowing them to dissolve into the air.
As you continue breathing just bring to mind three specific things you are grateful for.
Reflect on the qualities these experiences or blessings bring to your life.
Just allow yourself to fully immerse in the feeling of gratitude for each of them.
Expand your gratitude to encompass all aspects of your life.
Express appreciation for your body,
Your mind and the present moment.
Embrace a sense of gratitude for the challenges and lessons that have shaped you into who you are today.
Just take a moment to silently express your gratitude.
Offer thanks to yourself,
To those who have supported you and to the universe for the abundance and blessings in your life.
And now bring your attention back to your breath.
With each breath breathe in a sense of gratitude and breathe out any remaining tension or distractions.
As you gradually return to the present moment just carry this feeling of gratitude with you.
Allow it to infuse your day,
Your interactions and your perspective.
Bringing forth a greater sense of joy,
Appreciation and contentment.
