Welcome to the New Moon Meditation.
The phase of the new moon,
And also the time shortly before and after it,
Is wonderfully suited to gain and regain clarity,
To set intentions,
And to take the first baby steps in a new direction.
This meditation can help you to create your inner spiritual garden that you nurture and care for.
Plants that nourish and support you are fertilized and watered.
New plants are carefully selected and sown by you.
The weeds that prevent good plants from growing and thriving are carefully and lovingly removed.
Even if they reappear from time to time,
And interestingly enough,
Often in places where you did not suspect them at all,
You take the time to dig out the weeds again and again.
And at some point,
They no longer reappear,
But have been replaced by a beautiful and nourishing plant.
Let us begin.
Sit down and relax in a comfortable seat,
And gently close your eyes.
Start your practice by connecting to your breath.
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
Once again,
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
And then relax your breath.
Inhale and exhale effortlessly through your nose,
And watch the way of your breath.
Feel the breath entering,
And rush,
Just noticing each breath as it enters and as it leaves your body.
With every inhale,
Your breath gives you more energy,
And when you exhale,
You have the opportunity to let go of anything that weighs you down.
With every breath,
You relax more.
Now,
Imagine yourself standing in your inner spiritual garden,
And holding a bowl or woven basket in your hands.
In this bowl or basket,
There are three seeds that shimmer silvery.
You take one of the seeds into your hand and look at it.
It shimmers and gleams on your open palm.
What kind of intention or wish do you want to fill the seed with?
Wish with a deep,
Beautiful feeling as if they had already been fulfilled.
If you have energized the seed with your intention or desire,
Take it and plant it in your garden.
Now,
Take the next seed into your hand and look at it,
How it's shimmering and shining on your palm.
With what kind of intent or desire do you fill this seed with?
Connect your seed with a wonderfully warm feeling,
And if you have charged it with everything that is important for you,
Then plant it into your inner garden.
Now,
Carefully take the third and last seed in your hand.
Notice its shimmering and dazzling beauty,
And charge it with your intention or with a deep desire.
Again,
Try to experience a beautiful and fulfilling feeling in yourself when you energetically charge the seed.
When you're ready to plant the seed into your inner spiritual garden,
Then do so.
Take a loving look at your inner garden,
And if you like,
Put one hand or both hands over your heart and say thank you,
Silently or out loud.
Do this with a feeling of clear inner conviction that everything that you have sown today will be fulfilled,
And then let go of thoughts,
Desires,
And intentions.
Give them room to grow.
Now,
Come back slowly with your attention.
Back into your body,
And consciously perceive your breath again.
Take a deep breath through your nose,
And exhale through your mouth.
Slowly open your eyes again,
And let your gaze become clear.
Namaste.
