Hi and welcome to the full moon meditation.
The phase of the full moon is a wonderful opportunity for letting go anything heavy inside of you,
And lovingly removing the things from your life which no longer serve you.
Perhaps you already have something very specific,
Such as a certain habit,
People,
Beliefs or the like that you want to let go of.
Maybe it's something big or something small,
But maybe you don't really know what you want to let go of.
Maybe you just have a feeling that there is something you can't really picture,
But you know it's there.
That is also completely okay.
Find a quiet place,
Maybe one either inside or outside,
Where you have contact with the moonlight if you like.
Of course,
This meditation also works when the moon is hiding behind the clouds tonight,
And you just sit down in a place that feels good.
Sit down and relax in a comfortable seat and gently close your eyes.
Start your practice by connecting to your breath.
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
Once again,
Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
And then relax your breath.
Inhale and exhale effortlessly through your nose.
Watch the way of your breath.
With every breath,
You relax more and more.
Now come with your attention into your body,
Into your seat.
Feel into your pelvis.
Let your pelvis sink heavily towards the earth with a deep exhalation and consciously connect yourself to the earth.
Perhaps you can imagine roots emerging from your buttocks that anchor you very stably with the earth,
Which give you security and stability effortlessly.
With every exhalation,
You anchor yourself more and more to the earth.
You feel calm and grounded.
Now bring your attention to the crown of your head.
Visualize a shining full moon right over the top of your head.
Imagine you feel the silver light of the moon pouring over your head,
Completely flowing through you.
With every inhalation,
The bright,
Clear light of the moon flows into your body over the highest point of your head.
And with every exhalation,
It flows right through you and fills you.
Inhale,
The shining moonlight flows into you through the crown of your head.
Exhale,
It effortlessly distributes in your whole body.
Now imagine how the two energies flow through your body,
The power of the earth and the light of the full moon.
Inhale,
The earth energy flows up over your pelvis and with the exhale,
Flows out over the crown of your head into the universe.
Inhale,
The light of the moon flows into your body via the crown of your head and flows back through the exhale deep into the earth.
Immerse yourself in the cycle of earth and moon energy a few times by yourself.
Now visualize your own energy field around you,
Your aura.
Feel it.
What do you notice?
Maybe you see colors or pictures?
Let your aura shine.
Imagine letting go of things that are stressful for you,
Things that make life difficult for you,
Things that upset you,
That bring up a strong emotion when you think about it.
Be it memories,
Beliefs,
Injuries,
Anger,
Sadness or anything of the like.
You don't have to carry everything with you.
Sometimes you have to give yourself permission to let go of things that don't support you anymore in your life.
The very thing that's going through your head right now is exactly right.
Don't hold anything back.
No feelings that may arise,
No pictures that want to be seen.
Everything is welcome here.
With every exhalation,
You let go effortlessly,
Just like that.
Let it flow without thinking or overanalyzing.
Now in your mind,
Repeat for yourself three times the sentence,
I release what I no longer need.
I release what I no longer need.
I release what I no longer need.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thanks again to the full moon for giving you the opportunity to let go consciously.
And then slowly come back into the here and now.
Let your breath deepen.
Feel your body.
Notice where you are.
Notice the space around you.
Extend your arms over your head and stretch.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale through your mouth.
Slowly open your eyes again.
