Okay,
So this practice works best if you can be outside and I'm going to ask you to lie face down on the ground.
And so you may get a little dirty and that's okay,
But you might want to dress appropriately.
So you can go ahead and pause this now and get yourself situated.
Or if you are in an environment where lying face down on the earth is not going to work for you,
You can do this on the floor inside and you will be connecting to the earth through visualization.
Our brains don't know the difference between what is happening in physical reality and in our imagination.
So this will work well that way too.
So give yourself a chance to get situated and you want to lie face down with your arms spread way out and your legs spread way out,
Really taking up space,
Lying face down on the earth or on the floor beneath you.
Yeah,
And so as you begin this practice,
Begin by feeling that contact,
Feeling the contact with the ground with the support that is always available beneath you.
And as you breathe,
Allowing any sense of exhaustion or drain anything heavy,
Allowing gravity to be your friend.
Allow the ground beneath you to take all that you don't need.
If your mind gets busy and wants to think about all those things,
You can just take another breath and just feel into the earth.
If you are actually on the earth,
You can feel into the dirt,
The grass,
Stone.
You are on the floor,
You can feel the solidity of that floor made from the element of the earth.
Allow it to take from you all of that heavy energy,
Anything you're carrying that really isn't yours to carry,
Anything that's been weighing you down.
Just imagining it all flowing easily down into the core of the earth,
This magnificent,
Wondrous planet that is so resourceful.
The earth makes use of all things,
Endlessly creative,
Full of wonder and how she can create even from what we need to compost.
Allow yourself to deepen into the sense of relief and letting all of that leave and go down into the earth,
Letting yourself feel supported,
Held by this divine mother,
This planet that we live on in this unfathomable universe.
Allowing the breath to deepen.
You can switch sides with your head if you haven't already and you can even let the breath out with a sigh or even a groan.
Allow it to really help in releasing,
Giving what you no longer need.
So that something new can be made from it.
And then when that process feels complete,
Very slowly turn over and lie now with your back to the ground,
Still with your arms spread open,
Legs spread open,
Taking up space,
Feeling the support at your back and the earth and the ground beneath you.
And opening up to the sky,
If you're indoors,
You can close your eyes and sense in to the sky that is above the ceiling,
Above the building that you are in.
If you are outside,
You might feel the light of the sun or perhaps the light of the moon or the stars.
Just opening yourself up to this vast sky and all of those sky beings.
So that as you rest,
Your back supported by the earth,
You are opening to receive this light,
This perspective,
This wide wonder of the sky,
Of a universe so much bigger than you are,
So much out there and that you can open to receive the magnificence of that.
Let your cells be filled with the sense of possibility,
Spaciousness,
With light.
Feel that there is more than enough,
That there are greater sources of energy all around you,
All the time.
And just in this pause,
You can open and receive sustenance from them.
Opening it in,
Feeling yourself fill with energy,
Fill with wisdom,
Fill with this interconnectedness in such a vast universe.
Allow yourself to feel replenished and know that this is possible always for you.
Thank you for listening.
I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day.
