Hello friend.
I hope you're in good health and are doing well.
I wanted to read scripture with you before you started your day.
Scripture is taken from the book of Psalm,
Psalm 23,
Reading from verses 1 through 6.
All right,
If you're able,
Get your Bible so we can read along.
Before death,
I will fear no evil,
For you are with me.
Your rod and your staff,
They comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil.
My cup overflows.
Surely,
Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
These words permeate your heart.
Think on these words.
Whatever you may be experiencing,
This is an assurance to let you know that the Lord is your shepherd.
The Lord is the one that leads you.
Maybe the challenges of life and the daily grind of life made you forget all about this.
Well,
I want to remind you that the Lord is your shepherd.
Let him lead you through life.
Let him lead you through all the difficult decisions that you have to make on a daily basis,
Choices that you have to make,
Mountains you have to climb.
Let him lead you.
It doesn't matter what it is.
It could be at your work.
It could be in your relationships with your spouse,
With your children,
With your siblings,
Relatives,
Business partners.
It doesn't really matter.
The Lord is your shepherd.
Maybe you may be walking through difficult circumstances.
David is saying that though he walks through the valley of the shadow of death,
The Lord is with him.
You may be at a place like that.
Remember that the Lord is near.
He's never far away from you.
So be encouraged by these words.
