Hello friend.

I hope you're in good health and all is well with your soul.

I want to read scripture with you before you start your day.

Scripture is from the book of Psalms 121 and I'll be reading from verse 1 through 8.

I lift up my eyes to the heels.

From where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord who made the heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot to be moved.

He who keeps you will not slumber.

Behold,

He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your keeper.

The Lord is your shade on your right hand.

The sun shall not strike you by day nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all evil.

He will keep your life.

The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

These are very encouraging and powerful words.

I hope you make time today to meditate and think on these words.

The Psalm is the same.

My help comes from the Lord.

Now he's not saying this only maybe in times of desperation that he needs help but isn't it reassuring to know that the Lord is your help when you need it.

The Lord is your help when you need him.

You know we try to fill our lives with all kinds of things.

We want guarantees.

We want insurance but really our help comes from the Lord.

The Lord is better than any insurance policy you could ever have.

You know there are always clauses in the policy that you didn't know about and sometimes things happen in the very times that you really need these policies to kick in.

Your insurance to kick in so you can get the help you need.

They trip you with the clause that you didn't really pay attention to.

The Lord is not like that.

He's a present ever-present help.

So be encouraged this morning that your help comes from the Lord.

David is saying I will lift up my eyes to the hills.

From where does my help come?

Well the help is not necessarily coming from the hills and way beyond the hills.

So be encouraged.

The Lord is your keeper.

Go on out today and be the best you can be knowing the Lord is your help and the Lord is on your side.

If the Lord is on your side who can be against you?

You cannot fail.

So be encouraged.

Go on and do exploits for the Lord.

Go on and be a bright light in this dark world.

Go on and be a positive influence in your sphere of influence.

Go on and shine.

Have a blessed day.
