And welcome to this practice.
Find a comfortable seat with a little privacy.
We'll begin by taking a few deep,
Cleansing breaths.
Let this feel good in the body,
And allow yourself to settle in.
When you are ready,
Close the eyes.
Letting go of your breath,
And allowing your body to breathe naturally.
Notice whatever thoughts or images are present in your mind,
Resisting the urge to follow them.
Acknowledge any sensation in the body,
And also any emotion that may be present for you,
Or perhaps an overall mood.
Without evaluating or asking why,
Simply recognize all the information coming together to create this present moment for you.
Let your attention rest on the sound.
With the least amount of effort possible,
Keep a gentle focus on the vibration.
Be easy,
Letting the mind run.
As you notice your attention drifting away,
Gently call it back to the sound each time without judgment.
We'll continue for a few minutes.
Take a moment to rest.
Do nothing,
Giving the practice a few moments to integrate into the body.
Allow the breath to expand once again,
Sending some energy to the lungs,
And breathing deeply for a few rounds.
Say thank you to yourself for slowing down,
And taking a few moments for intentional rest.
When you feel ready,
You may open your eyes and return to your day.
