Find a comfortable position to sit in,
Where you won't be distracted.
As you're sitting here now,
Listening to my voice,
You can notice the chair supporting you,
Whatever you're sitting on.
As you breathe in and out,
You may already begin to feel a little more settled.
Whether your eyes are open or closed,
You can begin turning your attention inward.
Take a slow breath in,
And let it out.
And now,
Begin noticing the top of your head,
Without trying to change anything,
Simply notice any sensations there.
And as your attention gently moves down to your forehead,
You may notice those muscles beginning to smooth and soften.
Around the eyes now,
Tiny muscles loosening.
Moving down into your jaw,
Relaxing.
Tiny muscles around your mouth,
Softening.
Moving down into your neck,
Shoulders dropping just a little more.
And as you notice your arms,
Your elbows,
Your hands,
You may become aware of a pleasant heaviness,
Spreading naturally.
Breathing easily now,
Chest softening,
Stomach relaxing,
Hips settling.
Now bring this relaxation down into your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
Your ankles and your feet.
Letting go of any tension,
Feeling the softness in the body,
Feeling this relaxation.
And as your whole body begins to settle even more,
As you go deeper,
Deeper into this feeling.
Feeling like a daydream,
It can feel almost as though your mind begins to quiet,
In the same way a lake becomes still after the wind fades.
And in that calm stillness,
Imagine in front of you a screen,
On that screen is a version of yourself that is naturally confident.
Notice how you stand,
Your posture,
Breathing,
Your expression.
See the calm in your eyes,
Hear the tone of your voice.
Feel the quiet certainty in the way you move.
What does that look like?
What does that feel like?
How do you understand that to be?
And if you can visually see,
Get a feeling for it.
And as you watch that confident version of yourself,
Imagine a confident slider beside you.
Number 1 to 5.
At 1,
There is a small spark of confidence.
At 2,
The spark begins to grow.
At 3,
It begins to become warm,
Like a warm steady glow.
And at 4,
The confidence spreads through your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your spine,
And face.
And at 5,
You feel grounded,
Clear,
Capable,
And ready.
Think of what you would do with this confidence.
Think of something that you never thought you'd be able to accomplish.
See yourself doing that.
Now,
Seeing your confident self on this screen,
Understanding what that looks like and feels like.
Now step into that confident self,
Like putting on a perfectly fitted coat.
Now see through those confident eyes.
Hear that confident inner voice.
Feel the confidence in your body now.
And move the slider from 1 to 2.
Now imagine a mountain path.
At first,
The path may seem steep,
But every step teaches your feet where to go.
And that mountain does not ask you to leap to the top.
It simply invites the next step.
And as you climb,
You discover that confidence is not something to wait for.
It's something that grows as you move.
Move the slider from 2 to 3.
That's right.
And perhaps there was once a young tree in a storm.
At first,
It bent in the wind,
Wondering if bending meant weakness.
But over time,
The tree discovered that flexibility was strength.
Each storm sent its roots deeper.
Each season made its trunk stronger.
And one day that tree realized it had become steady.
Not because the wind stopped.
But because it knew how to stand.
Feel your breath steadying.
Feel your mind becoming clearer.
Now really imagine yourself at this confident state.
And move the slider from 3 to 4.
Know what that feels like.
What are you doing?
What are you seeing?
How are people seeing you?
They notice you.
When you walk into a room.
You have a presence.
People know confidence.
They admire it.
They want to be near it.
You're drawing people closer to you.
How does that feel?
Can you feel it in your body?
Can you feel the freedom?
And as you see yourself.
With this great confidence.
You understand that this has been within you all along.
We often get in our own way.
Limit ourselves.
You don't need to do that.
This is your time.
Now with this confident feeling.
As strong as it's ever been.
You can hold two fingers together.
As you press them together.
You feel solid confidence.
This anchors in.
That feeling.
And when you need to recall.
It will be there for you.
By putting your fingers together.
And remembering this confidence.
And now move the slider to five.
Let that confidence become familiar.
Let it become natural.
Let it be twice as confident as you were before.
Feel it in your body.
Know it to be true.
Let it become yours.
What does that look like?
What does that feel like?
Imagine yourself doing things that you.
Ever thought of doing in the past.
Using this new confidence.
See yourself in a new light.
And feel that.
That is your new reality.
This is what you build upon.
Firing off that anchor again.
Pressing your thumb and finger together.
Seeing this bright confidence.
Seeing the expression on your face.
Seeing how others react to you.
Seeing your posture,
How you walk.
With this new confidence.
This is it.
This is yours.
Now fire off that anchor one more time.
That's it.
And see yourself in a situation where you need this confidence.
Overcoming any obstacle easily.
Feeling strong and capable.
Maybe you're in an arena.
Speaking in front of thousands of people.
Confidently.
Without hesitation.
Without a plan.
Just doing.
Maybe there's a situation that you just want to be more confident in.
See yourself now.
Feeling calm.
Now before we come back into the room.
I want you to amplify every good feeling you've ever had about yourself.
And come back feeling refreshed and renewed.
Start to become aware of your body.
Breathing a little deeper.
Bringing back this calm confidence.
Feeling refreshed and clear.
You can open your eyes when you're ready.
