Meditation Timer OnlineJeremy Lipkowitz is a meditation teacher, former Buddhist monk, and executive coach with over 15 years of meditation practice and hundreds of days spent in silent retreat. Jeremy began teaching meditation in 2011, offering guided sessions to students at Duke University, where he was pursuing his PhD in Genetics and Genomics. After leaving academia to deepen his practice through monastic training in Myanmar, he committed fully to teaching mindfulness and inner transformation. He is a certified teacher with the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI), developed at Google, and has led mindfulness programs at organizations including Microsoft, Schlumberger, and The United Nations. Over the past decade, he has taught at universities, recovery centers, and companies across the U.S. and Asia. Jeremy's teaching blends ancient contemplative wisdom with modern neuroscience and emotional intelligence. His approach is grounded, accessible, and shaped by his own personal journey through addiction, shame, and recovery. He specializes in helping high-achieving individuals cultivate discipline, resilience, and genuine inner freedom. He is the founder of Unhooked Academy and host of the Unhooked Podcast, where he works to destigmatize addiction and share science-based mindfulness tools for lasting change.
