This collection of my Haiku is for Haiku lovers and to inspire others in writing their own Haiku. (Plural for Haiku is Haiku) Haiku is a short poem with only 3 lines-5, 7, 5 syllable pattern. Minimal punctuation is used and the poems do not rhyme. They often focus on nature, evoking an image or emotion. In this track, a bell will sound at the beginning of each Haiku.

Transcript

Spirits call to dance.

Rhythm of freedom drum beats.

Rise,

Freedom dancer.

Spirit guides are here.

Ancestors are present too.

To all,

I give thanks.

The ancestors say be strong and sing your soul song.

Don't forget to dance.

Journey with my drum to the lands of blissful shores where eagles fly high.

It's taking up space,

The elephant in the room.

Heavy energy.

Grief,

As I know it,

Lingers for eternity.

There will be no end.

Night falls down upon us.

There is a hush,

A silence.

Peace be with you now.
