There's nothing that you need to do right now,

Nowhere you need to go,

Nothing you need to solve,

Just allowing yourself to arrive here.

You can let the weight of the day begin to soften,

Without forcing anything to change,

No effort required.

If your mind is still moving,

That's okay.

If your body feels tired,

Heavy,

Or restless,

That's okay too.

This moment isn't asking anything of you,

It's simply offering you a place to land.

Take this time as permission to stop holding everything together for a little while.

Let yourself be here.

Notice the places your body is being supported,

The surface beneath you,

Holding your weight,

Without asking anything in return.

You don't have to adjust or improve how you're resting,

Just letting yourself lean into that support.

If there's any tightness you're aware of,

You don't need to fix it,

You don't need to understand it,

Just giving it permission to loosen in its own time.

Your shoulders don't need to carry today anymore,

Your jaw doesn't need to stay braced,

Your hands don't need to hold on,

Let gravity do some of the work for you.

The body knows how to release when it's allowed to feel safe enough to do so,

And right now you're allowed.

Your breathing can be natural and unforced,

No need to guide it,

No need to change it.

The body already knows how to settle.

It's safe to slow down.

Safe to rest here for a few moments.

Nothing is being asked of you.

You don't have to be alert,

You don't have to be productive,

You don't have to be on,

Just being here is enough.

Let the pace inside you soften,

Thoughts slowing on their own,

Sensations easing without effort.

If your awareness drifts,

That's fine,

If you feel quiet or spacious,

That's fine too.

There's nowhere else you need to be right now.

When you're ready,

You can carry this calm with you into the rest of your day or night.

There's no rush to move,

No rush to re-engage,

Just allowing the steadiness to stay with you as long as it wants,

Moving at your own pace,

Knowing you can return to this feeling anytime,

Even as the words begin to fade,

Rest here a little longer,

Or drift naturally
