There is so much happening in our world right now.
You may be feeling overwhelmed,
Saddened,
Fearful,
Or uncertain.
Perhaps some of us are struggling or trying to survive.
Maybe some of us are caregivers.
Or helping someone else survive.
Your day-to-day activities may look different than they did before.
Perhaps you're doing less of something or more of something else to compensate.
Perhaps you're feeling like this version of the world is not ideal.
Not supporting you.
Not supporting your loved ones.
Let's create a world that holds you.
Nurtures and sustains you.
Is collaborative,
Altruistic,
Connected,
Maybe liberated,
Or contains a balance of power and true equity.
A world that is physically flourishing and its stewards flourishing in it.
A world that craves your art,
Your poetry,
Your voice,
And amplifies it across its lands.
A world that is loving in all the ways you need it to be.
Let's spend some time envisioning a world that allows you to live into your highest expression.
This exercise is not an invitation to escape.
Or participate in delusion.
But instead it is a practice of intention.
Where we will focus our energy in co-creating a world that we all can thrive in.
And then identify one step that we can take to bring that world into reality.
We'll use perfect breath and visualization to achieve mind-heart coherence.
These states of harmony and presence shift our vibrational field,
And in doing so,
We become available to possibilities that may not have been accessible before.
Collective envisioning,
Embodiment,
And actioning are our strongest tools to changing our reality.
Let's begin with a breath together.
Inhaling through the nose.
And exhaling out your mouth.
And when it feels right.
I invite you to gently close your eyes.
Give attention to where your body is making contact with the surfaces that are supporting you.
Perhaps your head and neck are meeting the pillow,
And your back and shoulders are meeting the mattress.
Maybe your hips and thighs are meeting the seat and your feet are meeting the floor.
Wherever you are.
Just notice where your body is connected to the surfaces that are supporting you.
Perhaps let your shoulders fall away from your ears.
Maybe relax the tiny muscles around your eyes and let your lower jaw fall away from your teeth.
Maybe soften your fingers.
And relax your toes.
We're now going to bring a steady count to our breath and focus our breath into and out of our heart.
Inhaling and exhaling through the nose for about five seconds each.
I want you to imagine your breath traveling through your nose and into your heart on the inhale,
And the air dispersing from your heart and into your body on the exhale.
To focus your energy,
It may be helpful to place a hand,
Or both hands,
On your heart during this practice.
On the next exhale,
I invite you to empty all of the air out of your lungs.
Now,
Inhale to the heart,
Four,
Five,
And exhale from the heart,
Four,
Five.
5.
Inhale to the heart.
4.
5.
Exhale from the heart.
4.
5.
Inhale.
Out.
Inhaling.
.
.
And exhaling.
In through the nose.
Out from the heart.
N and out.
Let's continue on your own.
Breathing into the heart.
And out from the heart.
Expanding the chest on the inhale Softening the shoulders on the exhale.
Two more rounds.
Last one.
Exhale gently press the tip of your tongue to the roof of your mouth and hold 3.
.
.
Two,
One,
And release.
Return to your natural breath.
Just feel the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale.
Don't change anything,
Just be with it.
Noticing where your mind has drifted.
Gently guiding it back.
Noticing the rise and the fall of your chest.
I invite you to imagine a beautiful golden cord extending from your pelvic floor and gently making its way down into the earth.
It passes through the floorboards and travels past the foundation of the building and into the soil.
Travels through the roots and the rocks through the earth's layers through the crust past the mantle and the outer core It finally reaches the inner core where you are embraced by a beautiful liquid ball of golden light.
As though molten rock was coated with liquid gold.
This is the heart of the Earth.
Observe her for a moment.
Connect with the sentience of this magnificent structure.
Feel the love and warmth of this light traveling up this cord and enveloping you.
Thank Mother Earth for keeping you safe and tethered as you go off on your journey of creation.
As you send her your gratitude,
You begin to gently float.
Up through the ceiling of the building.
Through the trees.
Past the birds.
Through the clouds.
Past the planes further and further you float up into the Earth's stratosphere.
As you enter the dimensions of space,
Your face is met with a beautiful white light.
A soft,
Gentle light that invites you in.
Closer and closer you get to this light.
You know you are entering a place but you're not sure where or what.
As you accept the invitation of this light,
You close your eyes.
And when you open them.
You are welcomed by the wonder of this place.
Take a moment to look around.
What do you see?
What does it look like?
Do you see color?
You Are there voices?
Sounds?
What do you hear?
What are you doing?
What are you enjoying?
Who is there?
Perhaps people you know,
Family,
Loved ones,
Or perhaps beings you don't know but are curious about.
Notice how you feel.
Connect with the emotion of this place.
Notice what gifts are being offered to you.
Perhaps it's an apology.
Maybe it's forgiveness or encouragement.
Or a message from something or someone you encountered.
Maybe it's a feeling.
Just take note.
Taking in all of the magic of this place.
It's time to go now.
And I invite you to start offering your parting wishes to this place and all within it.
Bring with you whatever gifts you were offered.
They are yours to steward,
To tend to,
To grow.
I invite you to make your way towards the beautiful white light.
As you enter the light,
You are overcome with the felt sense of love.
Of gratitude.
Of hope.
You begin to start your journey back down to earth.
Through the terrain of space.
Back down into the stratosphere.
Past the plains and the clouds and the birds.
You travel past the trees.
Past the ceiling.
And back into your body.
Your beautiful golden cord gently makes its way.
Past the Earth's crest.
Through the rock.
And the dirt.
Up through the roots.
Up through the floor.
And connects itself back to you.
Notice the sounds of your environment.
I invite you to slowly bring movement back into your body.
Maybe gently wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Perhaps roll over to one side of your body if that feels right.
World building is most often initiated by cultivating the world within.
Before it reflects the world without.
So much of what is in our power to do starts with the care of ourselves.
Celebrate yourself today,
For you have started or have continued that practice.
I invite you to reflect on the gifts and offerings that you received during your visualization and determine one thing that you can do today to get closer to your desired state of the world.
It can be the smallest action.
Or gesture.
Or behavior.
Maybe it's giving someone a hug.
Or a compliment.
Saying yes to something.
Or even saying no.
Or expressing something that you've been holding.
Perhaps it is writing something down.
Or pressing send on the email.
Or joining the group.
Maybe it's telling someone you love them.
Or directing those words to yourself.
I invite you to find the things that remind you of your utopian world within this one.
The one we're currently in.
If we do this each day.
We can build something that feels safe.
Liberated.
Loving.
And possible for us all.
Thank you for joining me as we create our world together.
